After having a few months off, the fans are now ready for the big kick off and the excitement of walking back into the Stadium once again.

However, for Wolves fans, the recent years have resulted in disappointment. Infact you have go back to 1999/2000 season to see a "W" on the opening day of the season. That came at Maine Road as Robbie Keane scored the only goal of the game.

It was the season before that gave Wolves their last http://www.wolvesforum.co.uk/content.php?18 http://www.wolvesforum.co.uk/content.php?18 Sun, 30 May 2010 23:48:00 +0100 12 Months of Internationals Last May Wolves-Stats started to monitor and record when Wolves players were called up and used by their National teams. This year Nemad Milijas (Serbia), Marcus Hahnemann (USA) and Adlene Guedioura (Algeria) could mark the first time Wolves have represented more than 1 nation in the Tournament. Milijas and Hahnemann are all but guaranteed their spot in the 23 man squads but Guedioura has gate crashed the Algerian squad and will be hoping he avoids being part of the cull when the final 23 are announced.

The last player to play in a World Cup whilst at Wolves was Seol in Germany 2006.
