In the article about Mr Moxey, mention was made of people complaining about him who do not attend games.

A lot of people can't attend games for very good reasons, like they live abroad. Other people have other commitments. My point is that surely the idea of any sports forum, is that issues can be debated, and often some of the best contributions are from those who do not attend games. I know there are those on here who attend every home game, and many away games, but the views of others are just as important. There are also many threads on here that are non sports related, remember the general election debate. That was very good, but none of us have ever been involved in Government, have we?

Is this a piss take? Sell tickets to anybody that is well off enough to afford it, and leave STH with even less chance of securing a ticket? Nice one Jez, doesn't surprise me in the slightest, but as always certain people on here will probably stick up for him - probably the people it doesn't affect.

It's alright saying "you ain't gotta buy it", but it's not about that - it's more the fact that loyal fans are being pushed aside by often people who never bother going home or away and can take the family out on a big day out in London or get giddy as fuck about their day out to Old Trafford soon.

The prices Wolves come out with sometimes make me wonder if our City is actually in the Centre of London, not one of the worst hit cities in the recession.

"Clubs register a squad of up to 25 players, which must include at least eight 'home-grown' players. Clubs can supplement their squad with unlimited number of players under the age of 21".

now unless i have become discyclic, it says "must include at least eight home grown players" not if it's ok with the russian oligarch, it says must, and at least.

chelsea have named only four, so how are they getting away with this one. :icon_Yellow-Card:

let's face it, first game of the season, doyle was suffering from a kick on the calf, fletcher got a kick on the foot and has been out since, so at the last minute, bent is available, happy to be fourth choice, with something to prove to the blue noses. he has played and scored in the prem, and he's costing us thrumpence, not even a hotel bill while he's here. so why not , just in case.

it's like nipping back into the house as you are leaving to go to your local, and slipping a condom in your wallett.

You know there's never any new crumpet in on a monday night when it's pissing down. the bar maid with the cleavage to die for, has already made it clear you're not even on a very long list, but hey you never know do ya? you might just get lucky, and if you've don't it can go back in the sock draw for another wet monday.

Unless you get really pissed and the fat bird comes in. :piano:
