All good mate.
Reading through this post (over a few years I see) and your articles there seems to a tremendous amount of goodwill and support for you from this site.
But you're the best judge.
I've only just seen your site - some fabulous articles.
Please consider going back to writing - it's generally leap years ahead of some of the dross on football I see from so-called professionals.
The earliest (or oldest) game I have is the 1921 FA Cup Final between Wolves and Spurs (Spurs won 1-0).
Including recent seasons, I anticipate I'll have close to 1,000 games.
Like I said earlier, I'm probably 2-3 months away from when I'll create the YouTube channel. I want to have the games...
That would explain the dearth of available highlights for the seasons 2009/10 to 2012/13.
For the last few months I've been working on a project where I'm collating as many I can of Wolves match highlights (starting from 1921 and up to this season and beyond). It certainly keeps me...
Yes he did but not with Wolves which is quite unfortunate.
We will never know but if Wolves had both Lescott and Murray playing for them in 03/04 it might have turned out differently.
Yup just rewatched the highlights of that game - should have won.
It was a good finish by Wright-Phillips but for me it was less Kennedy's header out to him but no-one was within 15 yards of him.
One of our better performances in that season.
Interestingly enough, after the completion of the round, Wolves were in 18th position 6pts and goal difference below 17th . . . and who were 17th . . . Man City ! ! !
And in 16th place were Spurs...
Referencing the outstanding site https://wolvescompletehistory.co.uk - Jimmy Mac played 204 games for Wolves and scored 48 goals - a very good return.
He was also the best penalty taker for Wolves (along with Raul Jiménez) in my time following Wolves. Funnily enough their penalty taking...
Interesting discussion this but I fully concur with Lycan - it was a tragedy that we only got one game out of the 2 in 03/04.
As for Murray - the best shot stopper I've ever seen play for Wolves - and his weakness I'm sure would be corrected to some degree by today's coaches. The need for...
For all Maguire's faults as a player he showed class and true sportsmanship in shaking the hands of the Coventry players.
As for Antony's antics . . . words fail me.
I never saw him play but met him a number of times at the Oxley Golf Club when I was caddying for my dad where he always had time to talk to me about his playing days.
A wonderful person was Ron Flowers - a true gentleman.
Individually the players who replaced Wright, Williams, Hancocks, Wilshaw and Swinbourne were not as good, but they made a better team.
Dad always rated Finlayson as a top keeper. He always said he never played for Scotland as the Scottish selectors would never believe he was Scottish as...
Likewise woke the while house up at some goddamn time (3am) when Henry scored the winner.
SEB’s 2nd goal one is of the greatest Wolves goals of all-time.
