    I expected us to be better with him based on what I’ve seen but that’s pretty stark. He’s our only leader at the back which makes having Kilman as captain very hard to understand.

    Why is it weird? Should we get rid of Stan Cullis and Billy Wright statues as they are no longer at the club? No harm in remembering great players even if they’ve moved on and Raul and Ruben are two of our best players in the majority of fans lifetime’s.

    Dawson is far from perfect but he’s the glue that has enabled Toti and Lemina to look ok on occasions. Without him there is no leadership at the back.

    I know City are superb but I’m beginning to get a bad feeling about next season. We frequently struggle to do the basics and keep making the same mistakes. Summer recruitment is going to have to be successful or we’ll be in a relegation battle.
