'He wouldn't be interested in the Championship, too much like hard work. He wants to piss around and tap in a few goals in the last minute against farmers and celebrate in front of a big crowd like he's just won the Champions League.

He'll have fun there playing against defenders like Bevis Magabe and acting the prat with Todd Cantwell. He might not like it so much when Rangers fans see him palling around with Celtic players before corners while they're losing.'

I said this in the January transfer thread when the loan was confirmed. While not exactly what transpired the general theme isn't far off. There's very little tolerance for bullshit in Glasgow and Fabio is still a little boy playing make believe at being a professional footballer.

Final stats for the Championship loanees:

Hoever: 35 (5) appearances, 5 goals
Cundle: (Plymouth) 13 (11) appearances, 3 goals; (Stoke) 11 (5) appearances, 2 goals
Hodge: 4 (4) appearances, 1 goal

That's the only "source" I can find reporting the news of the bust up that isn't just aggregation.

Weekend update:

Yerson Mosquera and Goncalo Guedes - Villarreal, La Liga

Both started at Celta Vigo but Mosquera was taken off at HT in what may have been a tactical change after a red card. Guedes played 74 minutes and looked threatening down the right. Smashed in a rocket to make it 2-2, but Celta ended up winning it.

Goal around 5 mins:

Ki-Jana Hoever and Luke Cundle - Stoke City, Championship

Hoever played 75 minutes and Cundle the full game as the Wolves boys ran riot. A goal and three assists between them in a 4-0 win at home to Bristol City. Cundle's goal was a sliding tap-in, and he hit the bar towards the end.

Goal from the start:

Fabio Silva - Rangers, SPL

Really showed his critics up with a *checks notes* tap-in at home to 10-man Kilmarnock. Still, played the full game and it was decent play by him that led to an early penalty that his team-mate missed. Finished 4-1.

Bendeguz Bolla - Servette, Swiss Super League

Played 66 minutes of a 2-1 win vs Winterthur that keeps Servette on course for CL qualification. Both goals came in the first 8 minutes from the keeper spilling his crosses from the left.

Chiqunho - Famalicao, Portuguese Primeira Liga

Played 62 minutes of a 2-0 dead rubber win at home to Benfica. Cut inside from the right to good effect: first, was unlucky not to get an assist after his inswinging cross was headed in and then chalked off offside, then he smashed a shot off the post a few minutes later.

Daniel Podence - Olympiacos, Greek Super League

Played and got an assist at Villa in the Conference League then had the weekend off to prepare for the second leg...

Dexter Lembikisa - Hearts, SPL.

Played 62 minutes of a 3-0 defeat at Celtic. Almost got an assist when his cut-back from the right was put wide.

Not in squad: Hubner.
