As long as you promise not to talk about wrestling I think it would be an excellent idea!

Edit: That wasn't aimed at James by the way (didn't notice his post) more aimed at the Wolves podcast that is currently out there..

77 Club?

This seems like desperate spamming to justify the minor wrestling talk on Fancast by me adding ANOTHER comment.

Well 386 episodes later people still seem to like it. For some reason...

I’m sure theres plenty of us on here who can assist you.

From experience you need a good microphone, recording software (audacity is a good one) and upload it to soundcloud. Then the rest is down to you and what you want to put out.

This is basically what you need to get a podcast going. A Blue Yeti Omni-directional podcast is what we used to start out and is the go to mic for starter pods. Good quality. Always happy to offer help to setting stuff up and how to get started if needed (minus the 'wrestling' talk).

Gossipmongers is very funny. Pretty much just Joe Wilkinson and others reading out local gossip sent in by listeners but better than that sounds.

And Dear Joan and Jericha is back and even more filthy.

Enjoyed GOSSIPMONGERS, thanks for the recommendation

I had a quick listen and it was mostly made up stuff with everyone cackling as though it was the funniest thing they'd ever heard.

Not for me. And I usually love Joe Wilkinson.

Listened to Ep1. The parts in-between the gossip really annoyed me for some reason.
Yeah, it used to bug me too, but I've grown to accept and even sometimes enjoy those bits.

This is so good

SpaceWorm had me crying with laughter

Just brilliant, again.

Really need Bruce to get writing again

And so it turns out the year before the book came out Bruce was at Birmingham playing alongside... Steve Barnes! And I don’t mean the forum’s Steve Barnes (unless it is?!?!)

I have chortled and snorted my way through those two podcasts. They're brilliantly hilarious.

Go back and listen to the other book reviews

1st book is just 1 Podcast and the 2nd is a 2 parter

I think the first two book listens are a must to just get the flavour of the man, his cars and his seemingly mild annoyance of people's names not being pronounced correctly.

Randomly shortening other people's names as well, even when they've told him not to :icon_lol:

That's genius. Must have Cabral on the back of mine.
