this song is 'verse than the verst pornography' as suggested by dieter from yello on radio 1 review prog back in the day. made me laugh at the time anyway.
 
read today that earworm comes from the german Ohrwurm, which i think means earwig?
 
terrible week for this.
the weekend gave me bohemian rhapsody for some reason.
the beginning of this week has given me don't cry for me argentina.
I have no idea what I have done to deserve this!
 
Can beat that - have had 'washing machines live longer with Calgol' stuck in my head all week.
 
a friend of mine could not accept that the ad wasn't that washing machines live longer with calpol. no explanation would convince the idiot!

Ever since Level 42, Running In The Family was mentioned on one thread on here, I've been singing "On the back seat of the car with Joseph and Emily. We only see so far and we all have our daddy's eyes" I don't sing the rest of the song, only that fucking bit.
 
At a quiz last Sunday there was an intro's round...had Pearl Jams Alive in my head ever since
 
Earworms only last a few hours for me. Never had one last more than a day.

I heard Ronnie Barkers going Straight theme earlier and it took me most of the day to get rid of it
 
One of my favorite singers but this song came into my head out of nowhere
 
can't believe this is the first time i have seen this thread, have gone from this morning with "you never close your eyes anymore....." noit the rest of the song just this in a huuuuge deep bass voice. makes you look and sound like a nutter walking along the beach, i ay you... i mean me ha ha ha
 
I've had 'Ole's at the wheel' in my head all day. For obvious reasons.
We really ought to be making some words of our own to it.
I was thinking something along the lines of: Ole's just a twat, tell me what you think of that? You've got Lingard and Rashford his mate, and there's Luke Shaw, three stone overweight, la la.....
 
I hope we beat them just so I can get plenty of use out of the "wheels coming off"gifs again to all the plastic Utd fans I know.
