The Goggle Box Thread

Bit of a rabbit hole, but sickbeard and sabnzbd are a good place to start.

Back on topic, the wife is forcing me to watch Best of the Apprentice. After 17 years this is the closest I ever come to walking out.

Can't be longer than 10 minutes though?

38 minutes and counting so far.

I've never understood how he could fire someone he doesn't employ yet ?

Plus I remember the time of Yuppies hated them then and that programme has done nothing to change my mind !

Did you know, they film all the "getting in a taxi" bits before the first episode as some contestants throw a hissy fit when fired and just walk off set. Well, did you know that?

No, no I did not !

If you could take all the contestants from The Apprentice and all the participants from Big Brother and jettison them into space I would have no problem with that whatsoever.

Got this Letterkenny pearl last night "As sure as my Grandma's got gout, if I hear one fucking heckle, I will staple your tongue to your taint so you can watch me kick your ass".

Still laugh at the Shoresey exchanges that I cannot repeat on here :)

Changed my mind on Bordertown, it’s not really good at all it’s fucking excellent. Ville Virtanen is absolutely superb in the lead role, such a charismatic performance all the way through.

Only just came across Banshee, did season one last night, there's boobs in it !!!

Is it any good? Someone recommended it to me ages ago but I really doubted him due to his overall tastes in stuff.

I did a season in the first night and I'm on the second season now, quite violent and a fair bit of sex and nudity, only downside is there's a fair few flashbacks but I like it :)

Cobra Kai - I’ve been watching with my boy and we’ve both really got into it.

The season 2 finale, holy crap, that was crazy! Can’t wait for season 3 in January...

Watched Cobra Kai when it went free on YouTube, expecting cheesy but enjoyable shit. I was surprised how genuinely good it was.

Sorted. That’s next on the list then.

Watched 'Michael Palin:Travels of a lifetime' yesterday

Can't believe that I was only just over half as old as I am now when that first one aired

Extra insights from the personal diaries he made during the trip

If you like your European crime drama, and subtitles, Moscow Noir on Walter Presents is very bingeworthy.
