The Goggle Box Thread

Liking 'what we do in the Shadows' never knew it existed before !

Fookin love it. Odd that it took a couple of episodes to properly get my attention but one of my faves from this year

Great comedy, but Matt Berry is funny in pretty much anything. Year Of The Rabbit is another good one.

Fun fact - The guy that plays the elephant man in YoTR is the guy that played Alfred in The Last Kingdom.

Actually found out about it on a You Tube video about the top vampires in films, it featured alongside Nosferatu and Let the right one in :)

Can’t remember who recommended it on here but Bordertown is ace.

That’d be me. Brilliant ain’t it? I was hooked after a couple of episodes and Ville Vitanen is superb, one of the most compelling characters I’ve ever watched in a series. Can’t wait for season 4.

Cheers - always like a Scandi crime series.

Its fantastic - watched 3 in one go last night while the wife was feeling ill* in bed. Just need to work out when I can watch more.

I think I binged all three seasons in just over a week.

I've got Bordertown on my Netflix list. Will have to get around to watching it.

I've been watching that Michael Palin programme on BBC 2 revisiting all his travel series which is good. For some reason, I have never watched any of his programmes but I am now really enjoying watching Around the World in 80 Days on iPlayer. I don't know why I've never seen it before as I love a good travel series!

I'm sure it's been discussed on this thread already but I watched the first 6 x episodes of Cobra Kai last night. Really enjoying it. With the episodes only being half hour, it's extremely watchable. I like how it's quite laid back and doesn't take itself seriously.

We binged Ratched on Netflix this weekend.
Very stylish backstory about the cruel nurse from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest

I’d seen that show up on Netflix. One of my favourite films but that just didn’t appeal, especially with some very mixed reviews. I’ll end up watching it at some point.

Really enjoying Banshee. Like I said previously I really wasn’t looking at watching Anthony Starr as I can’t stand him in The Boys but he’s brilliant. It’s testament to his acting really as his character in The Boys is meant to be vile. Totally changed my opinion on him.

Anthony Starr is a cracking actor.

Started watching Helstrom, which is pretty good. Slightly different to the comics, by all accounts, which is being mentioned all over the internet.

I love a good anti-hero.

We binge watched The Fall in about a week - really, REALLY good drama. Recommended to anyone who likes a bit of grisly police drama. And who doesn't like a plethora of sexy Northern Irish accents?

Unless your 15 minutes of semi fame is this year and you'll be even more obscure next, then you aren't going to do it. Wales in November this year, or Queensland with a 6 star hotel before and after next is a no brainer. To be fair it's stronger than I thought it would be

To be fair this year I have heard of some of them, do you think when they agree to come on they think they are validated as celebrities ?

Anyone watched all series 1-4 of Cardinal? Any good? Worth starting?
