Brighton v Wolves (A) 02/01: Buildup and Matchday Thread

Time for a last ten minute winner for someone
A draw is the same for us as a loss, this team doesn’t have any grit but when you got to play total defense because of the 47 million flop
now with respect that’s just trolling! I am going to call it first so the usual suspects don’t start. The verdict thread is already a popcorn munch

Don’t think Fab can complain about coming off this game - like Vitinha he’s done bits ok but not done enough.

Dreadful stuff second half, Brighton dominating us completely

Your captain and most experienced player dangling a crazy foot out to gift a penalty, and a header from a set-piece doesn't exactly scream "Nuno's fault" here though does it?
He made the change to bring Kilman on and hand the incentive to them, when we were already on the ropes. He is the one that instructs us to be negative, cautious and to defend rather than attack or keep control of the ball. Same happened the other day against Manchester United. And whilst I can accept those tactics (to a degree) against a top 6 side, we are playing Brighton.

I’m sure the ‘blame’ can be spread around amongst several parties, but it still cracks me up how many people on here have blinkers on when it comes to Nuno.

86th min sub good thing nuno is so proactive pursuing the win

Brighton deserve this. They had no luck first half and have been a street ahead of us in the second

maybe we can hold on with 10 at the back?

Tbh mate, if we lose this I'm laying the blame squarely on you and Robert63

Burnley is only 2 wins to catch us, this team is going to struggle to stay above the 16th position.
Brighton has outplayed us in every position today

Pragmatism aside, this kind of performance can and should spark an inquisition in the team. Completely unacceptable right from the first kick off the half.

Team pretty much as a collective reacted terribly to that penalty. Every time we have possession there is so little movement, makes it easy for Brighton to win it back. Feels like we are playing with ten men.

It's a fucking good job we have ten days or so until the next (league) game. Neto looks fucked to me.
