Podence may be slightly better out wide, but currently he's our best central AM threat so he can stay there.
 
Think is you want Podence on the left if he's playing wide. No good him playing on the right as he can't cut in to any effect, what with having no left foot to speak of.

That in turns means moving or leaving out Neto which would be crazy being as he's been our best player by miles all season.

Yeah, but why move him when you don't need to. He's one of the very few bits of the team that's working at the moment. Also better for RAN (who's going to have to keep playing for a while, as Saiss is not a proper option and Marçal Masters isn't back for ages) to keep linking with the same player where possible.
 
He can. Playing two inside forwards and letting the wing backs put crosses in down the line is the way I would go when all fit.

As said above I'd keep Podence central. Neto is better on the left and Traore may just find himself more effective putting crosses in to Jose rather than Silva.

As for Willian Jose, its the Mourinho "Joe-say" pronunciation isn't it as its a Portugese name? Not the Spanish "ho-say" version.
 
Spiers is claiming the work permit still hasn't been sorted and he's still not in the country so I expect chances of him playing Saturday are quite low ?
 
Going to do a Bonatini. Work Permit was always going to be the end of the week and as he is only in Spain, he can leave tomorrow morning, do some light training in the PM and be in when we next have a full training session on Friday
 
Lets hope he is available for Saturday, he will be needed, this game is going to be vital.
 
Why is it taking a week to get a work permit? It should almost be “automatic” with this points based system.

Government Departments. Football won't get any special treatment and a rushed job.
Presume the paperwork doesn't start until all the necassary stuff from Wolves is sorted and sent in and maybe even needs International clearance from the 2 FA's involved before they even consider checking it out

also held up play well the few times he got the ball. slowed things down, made good passes.

obviously didn't do a ton or have much time to play but showed he might have some of what's been missing

And oh yeah, we are going to need to get used to ref's giving nothing free kicks against him.
