The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

Twatling road ! Ron Atkinson used to live up there, i think he has now moved to Spain. He would always stop and chat with you about football though. I know some of you might not like this, but he was a nice guy.

My dog sitter lives near Twatling Road. Thats my knowledge of the area covered

Are you a Brummie then Kenny ?
Nope.
Staffordshire (with spells spent in various places inc Wolves, Darlaston and now Market Drayton)

Bit of a trek to drop them off now but happy to do that as they live in her house and have freedom and attention all day and of course the area they live in is great for their exercise. Not that they get to go over their much at the moment.

Twatling Road, christ thats where the money people live (no i dont live up here ). Jack Grealish lives up near there , i gather he upsets a lot of the neighbours by playing loud music at all hours.

Some ridiculous houses down that way.

I'll get the sitter to ensure Lewis & Nuno leave a deposit outside Jack's House...

That triggered a chuckle and a random post: Stephen Hawking lived in Wordsworth Grove, Cambridge, opposite a friend of mine. He was well known for having loud parties at all hours to the extent the neighbours were getting pretty pissed off. That neck of the woods is mostly academic crusties living in listed buildings but Hawking had a modern footballers gaff built that would never have had planning permission if it wasn’t his name on the application.
It would appear Grealish and Hawking had something in common and it wasn’t cosmology or a decent through ball.

Went down the YouTube rabbit hole last night, started out watching woodworking projects and ended up watching countless Iniesta videos, it just makes you smile watching him

I was on Facebook Watch, looking at loads of clips of people getting shitty tattoos done that they weren't allowed to see until they were complete. One woman got her mate a tattoo and it was of a big pink dildo.

On the silly names bit, Fanny Hands lane in Ludford Lincolnshire always made me smile

I accidentally watched a video on Facebook Live of someone streaming themselves playing a truck driving simulator. Now that’s all I’m getting as recommended videos. Clicked on a flight sim one last night and there was a fully grown man dressed as a pilot pretending to fly a Vulcan bomber.

I've got Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Great game for just chilling out! Fully modded out too so it covers the entirety of Europe.

This is not how I envisaged using my spare time when I was 21.

Do you spend 2 days stuck at Dover and then have to take a virtual Covid test before being sent back home?

I make myself a ham sandwich before I start then throw it out of the window, uneaten.

One of my old customers once confessed that he and a mate (the co-pilot) did real time flights to the US on Flight Simulator.....
