The things that I really, really like thread...

Watching the new film The Witches. Not the actual film ( which is shit ) but watching me two cats following the story of the three mice in it. Worth every penny just watching them 😂😂😂😂😂

Is it bad because the original was great ?

I don't recall the original being great either, but with few films coming out these days, just wanted to watch something ' new ' ish.

Seeing me /my ( just for you Paul) cats trying to hunt down 3 mice was more entertaining than a film could ever be 😂😂

Saw my grandson tonight very briefly. Gorgeous and he has a very strong grip with those tiny fingers!

Dived into Morrisons on the way home and we timed it perfectly on those trays coming out with the reduced labels on them at the end of the day. As we have shelves of the freezer available ready for the Christmas scran it was too good an opportunity to miss. Two great rump steaks, big beef rib joint, pork roasting joint and a butterflied pork loin for next to nothing. Most expensive meat product was a small turkey crown joint for the visiting kids on Christmas Day. The rib on the bone was a stonker bargain.

Me new treadmill, it's the dogs bollocks.

Been going on every morning and feel better for it 😃

I’ve had one delivered today - fuck knows how I’ll get it up the stairs!
Did it - my wife had the genius idea of putting it on the box, I pushed from the bottom, and she and my son pulled from the top.

I didn’t realise it was that heavy when I bought it, it weighed about 15 stone!

If it was that heavy why didn't you just push it upstairs while it was still in the box?

I figured I could take out all the other bits out apart from the base, which would make it light enough to take up a bit easier.

Plus the box was about seven feet long, but the base is about six feet long, figured it would be easier out of the box. But I was wrong!

I don't know how me and hubby managed tbh. We took it all out the box, thinking if we carried smaller parts up first it wouldn't be so heavy...wrong 😂

Fortunately we had got some of those straps for moving heavy furniture, which you put around your back, neck, and under the heavy item. I can't tell you how relieved I felt when I reached that top step!

Haha, at least we both tried the same thing - it seemed logical at the time!

im looking forward to getting it set up tomorrow.

Things to look forward to again, and planning ahead ( at the same time hoping things don't go tits up)

First thing I'm gonna do, go on a picnic, even if it's fucking pissing down 😀

My son's are both 100 miles away (which for our US compatriots is a long(ish) way in this country) - want to go up to see them & spend time with them (haven't seen 1 of them for 8 months) so will need to wait until I can stay over so I can have a barbecue & a beer with them.

Probably looking at mid May.

Only other thing I need is a fecking haircut!!!!!!!!!!!!!

get a tent, and if the weather is as good as last year, you might be able to sooner PLF.
And if you can in 4 weeks, the hair might suit the character of the old man in a tent in the garden... ;)
