Stay or Go?

South America are exempt from the "brexit" rules for footballers.
The rules for South Americans hasn't changed as such, but they can't circumnavigate them by having EU passports any longer

Basically the competitions South American’s play in now (copa libertadores) is worth more points wise to get a work permit than it used to be compared to European players

He's 17 and played 8 games though?

No matter who goes and who stays the biggest thing for me is Nuno. This current Nuno rocks up next season and i don't see anything changing regardless of personnel. He isn't getting the best out of players and the squad even allowing a little leeway for all that has gone wrong this season. I think we look weak physically and mentally, we're naive as a team and players have constantly made big errors that i don't think is down to them not being good enough.

In terms of DW's list i would agree with all of the actively look to get rid of players apart from Dendoncker who i think is much better than he's shown this season. He was asked to do something he shouldn't have been for months and his levels and confidence dropped but i think he's a very capable squad player. MGW and Vinagre have shown promise in loans and in little glimpses here and there for us but it's not been enough.

Agree that we should be signing Vitinha and RAN. I've seen enough from both of them in some way this season that shows how much potential they have got and we should be finding a way to get the best out of them. I also agree with the must keep and no value lists.

In terms of the consider offers list:-
Adama - I get it and if a decent bid came in i wouldn't be against accepting it but i also don't think it's as clear cut as his stats make out in terms of what he can offer. I do feel he's never going to be as consistent as we would all like but don't feel we're set up to get the best out of him most of the time.
Semedo - Think he will improve next season but another i wouldn't be against selling if the right bid came in. Despite looking a top full back at times he makes far too many silly errors that get punished at this level but i could see them being ironed out a touch within the right set up.
Hoever - Don't think we've seen enough of him to make a decision to be honest. I'm not sure what he is either but i'd like to see more before i judge.
Podence - Looks unplayable at times when at his best. He's definitely not fit at the moment or something isn't right anyway so i won't judge him too much on recent games but even before this i think he has too many games where hes not at it. Again this could improve in a side set up differently.

We definitely need to freshen things up in the summer and that may well be very difficult however it's badly needed. Whatever happens with Nuno, playing style/formation we without a doubt have to buy a centre back and work from there. I'm definitely interested to see what we do in the summer in terms of recruitment and sales but going back to my opening paragraph i'm more interested in our style of play, our setup and the mentality that we start next season with.

What Slink just said, basically. One of the worst things on Sunday was that we looked physically weak.
And yet again a player was allowed to canter towards our goal without the required professional foul (I can't remember who, and it didn't lead to a goal this time, thank God.)
I watched Leeds/Man Utd afterwards and they were both far more professional than us with blocks and checks and foul-when-it's-needed.
Add on to the player recruitment we need a throw-in coach and a Dark Arts teacher

They need money, the stadium is a tip and they're more vulnerable than others to what's happened over the last year.

It wouldn't happen anyway but I would swap them in a heartbeat.

When I first said it I was joking, but the more I joke about it, the more I think they actually should.

Burnley should go all and out and sign Traore!

Unlimited dinks onto mutant heads.

Dyche is no fool, he's out thought Nuno and not for the first time. He knows is players strengths and knows our weakness against strong, robust striker's.

I'm not so sure he did, he played the same team as he always does, no matter who the opposition are. Then we defended like Billy Smart's Circus.

All four of those goals are just appalling and nothing to do with good Burnley play or a masterplan.

Reading this thread and the same issues that have been relevant for three summers will be relevant again.
Coady v new centre half
What do we do with Traore?
Where should Neves play?
What about Raul back up?

Finally several see that major surgery and strength in depth is required to perform next season , I just don’t think it will happen. If Neto had not been injured I think he was bailed on gone. Traore is off too and Guedes will come as a loan with an option. We really need a proper centre half not a convert. Semedo will be here next season as will Fabio and RAN. Let’s hope that Fabio spends the summer in the gym and drinking protein shakes. Podence will stay too. Recruitment have made their bed and they will lie in it. I can’t see more than two or three in and maybe 3 or 4 out.
We need a pack mentality for next season as it’s going to be tough I fear.

Tim II saying Ruddy is in talks to stay on and might have a future.

Sneaky feel for a Coady to Everton for a lot more than he is worth assuming Nuno goes there.

If that's the case you'd think Rui is more than likely leaving

Aye. Opening talks with Ruddy is tipping my faith that Rui is off. Its a tough ask of any team to replace two goalkeepers as AS and Sarkic don't seem anywhere like ready so I'd imagine Ruddy will be convinced to stay and we find somebody else to become #1(1).

They can't ver well make Ruddy - bench for the past three seasons - number 1 and keep talking undercharging

Rui may well be off, but I don’t think Ruddy signing a new deal has anything to do with it.

Sarkic and Sondegard need to be playing games. Ruddy either plays backup here or somewhere else in the PL on a Similar wage. Or quarters his salary somewhere lower down the pyramid to play games. Best for both parties to sign a new deal.

I can't help but feel you could improve the backup positon with a free signing, might not seem worth it but of the plan is to push on in the cups I'd rather someone more capable than Ruddy played in them.
