Can all the sniping/baiting/abuse stop now please.

A few threads this week have been derailed because of this, and the matchday thread on Sunday was embarrassing to read through after the game.

Monday we have the joy of a Black Country Derby, and heaven forbid what that thread will look like if we play badly, or even lose again!

So a gentle reminder to all, and not aimed at particular people, to play nice. Debate and disagreement is fine, abuse is not.

I don't really like posting stuff like this, and the mod team don't want to start throwing around bans and prefer quiet words to calm down, but the place is becoming very tedious and needs to stop

Well this has been said several times, so can I ask... are (for example) Johnny and Paul going to get public reprimands from moderators when this happens from now on then?

And everyone who snipes at Jinky when he posts anything on a matchday thread?

And can someone please delete the post of a moderator sniping at me for no reason earlier in the thread?

I reckon Johnny has been banned more times on here than anyone else tbf.

I don't want anyone to get banned, I just don't see the point of us all clutching our pearls about bickering/sniping over multiple threads when plenty of high profile posters do it under the radar with regularity.

It's just hot air if it doesn't apply to all
 
FFS people, stop acting like a couple of gangs of spotty teenagers desperately claiming they've got the biggest knobs.

I used to really enjoy coming on here - yes, people disagreed with one another, but as long as you could back up your opinion it was respected.

Now it's regularly petty bickering for the sake of it, and putting off people like me from bothering to both post and even read.

These kind of simple, nostalgic 'better in the old days' posts are always popular, but I think what you describe rears it's head on football forums quite regularly. Many of us remember the old E&S Mol Mix and it was a great deal worse!

A look at the Banned Users thread shows there's been abuse, wummery, bans and nonsense on here since the thread began 7 years ago.

I have singled your post out because despite numerous attempts to move things back to Wolves talk, you persistently reply with "but what about them".

I'm just disagreeing with the sentiments and accuracy of the previous post. It's a discussion forum. The two posts above mine were hardly Wolves related?

And what most of you see as 'moving on' is just sweeping everything under the carpet when nothing's really changed.

Tomorrow the same people will still be getting away with doing what others get constantly lectured and 'pulled up on'.

I'll draw a line when Sniffer edits his post, as I've requested politely multiple times now

My name keeps getting dropped on multiple threads (I'm flattered, btw), but the truth is, I just post how I feel and what I think and I really don't give it much more thought than that. Sometimes that falls in line with the general consensus on the forum - and other times, it quite obviously doesn't. For whatever reason, I do seem to get picked up on more than others *insert victim card pic here* and that started to grate, so I just walked away. I've actually stopped posting/viewing during the week and only really come on here for a matchday thread (unlucky fuckers!). So I missed all the fun last night, or whenever it was. But I will say, having met quite a lot of people on here (including Johnny) - they are all top blokes. I genuinely enjoy all of their company and I'm sure you'd be the same PK. Sort of makes all the online shenanigans a bit... silly?

Can't wait to piss you all off again on Monday when we're 3-0 down at half time and I get to say "I told you we're shit"*

FWIW I’ve asked about improving pre-match facilities. They’re shite for parents and kids.
