Wolves 1-2 Man Utd: Verdict Thread

Had to have a rest from singing now and then Jinky. It's hard work doing the chants for 25000 missing fans!
Dean made it difficult too with his incompetence the bent shister!
It was bloody emotional in there today and I'm glad I got a ticket. Was great meeting up with Boozad and Tredman too

Is in the BW upper with players families. Thought quite a bit of noise was produced in the ground (non by me though obviously) considering there was only 4000 there. Did seem like there was a fair about of booing, although that is always going to be the case if 10 people do it and it’s quiet.

Thought only having 4K in was a bit stupid. I know it’s out the clubs control but I’d love to know the thinking. It was bloody empty. SB concourse is massive yet that stand was basically empty.

4k is better than no-k?
No I’m happy that fans were in. But Leeds to my understanding got 8k. And Elland Road is only marginally bigger than Molineux.

I’d just love to know the rationale/science behind only having the amount we did. Becuase to my mind there is none.

There is none, its just Wolves Council SAG being overbearing pricks.

I reckon it'll be pubs or concourse space maybe

Which would be a load of bollocks. It was empty and the pub should have nothing to do with it. People were going to the pub regardless of tickets.

Believe me after spending a week with COVID-19 H&S, the entire thing is indeed bollocks 😅

I dont want to go to political You can like the message whilst disliking the organisation.

I hate Racism, with a Vengence, i dislike BLM as much.

The trouble is People hear the message and fall behind the messengers.

This is an organisation that promote looting, attack monuments to those that served this country well in the second world war against proper facisits not the woke idea of Facists.
BLM is not an organisation, it's a message which appears after today to need to be said even louder and even more clearly. You've been conned into thinking that it is an organisation by a small group of idiots trying to hijack the message.

Spot on.

The booing: 100% came from the upper right hand side of the South Bank. We were on the temp stand side and there was nothing from over there, even from where we were it sounded half arsed. Not that that excuses it but it certainly wasn't the majority.

The game: Mike. Dean. is. A. Cunt. I love Semedo, RAN and Fabio. Neves put some great tackles in. Henderson is a time wasting cunt.

The racist: Job done mate, you fucking prick.

The send off: I know at least three grown men cried at that, I won't name them but I really don't think Darlo, Tredders or myself would be ashamed of it. Nuno will always be one of us.

All in all a pretty miserable day when it should have been joyous, beyond the company and the beer (Brownie Pints is amazing) there was nothing to really cheer about. Hopefully I'll have my voice back by Wednesday.

I'll start on where i sat, fuck me that North Bank top tier right next to the Steve Bull is an awful place to be with the weather we had today, may as well have been sat on the roof on the roof of the SB.

In regards to the booing, i didn't hear it because i was already singing (tried to be louder in the second half for Jinky ;)) but it obviously happened and it just proves that you're always going to get some dickheads much like the lad who thankfully will never get to ever enter Molineux again for being a racist prick.

The game was pretty much as i've seen us under Nuno this season and showed the deficiencies we have, it's much easier to see live and was the only benefit of having the seat i did. Back 3 were all over the place, Boly nowhere near his best and having him and Saiss on their wrong sides just doesn't work and never will especially when they have the ball, it cuts off so many options particularly for Saiss. United could have scored a few early on, we looked a threat when Adama got it and Fabio was always looking for ways to get in behind. Conceded a poor goal but equalised with a very well worked one and then lost to a bullshit penalty, contact doesn't mean penalty especially when you can take 2 steps then drop but Mike Dean was shite at best as he always seems to be these days.

We knocked the ball around quite well especially second half but once again there wasn't any idea on how to break Utd down once we got it in to the final third and there wasn't an obvious pattern of play anywhere to be seen. It was still a bit too much get it wide and hope.

Just quickly again on Fabio, i know i seem to have a bit of a love in with him but the lads got so much ability and his movement really is top class. I know Johnny and some others won't agree but he's not slow especially without the ball, he gave Bailly 5 yards in the second half and still beat him and then bullied him off the ball and he's going to create/score a lot of goals in a team set up to attack and use central areas to build play. No way should we be sending him anywhere next season, we've got a talent we need to nurture in to a top player.

Finally on Nuno, it didn't look like a man that was just told to do one by his bosses but of one who had mutually agreed it was time to go for now. Now he's a great man so he could have just been putting a brave face on for the cameras but it genuinely didn't seem that way but you could tell he was gutted to be leaving no matter the circumstances. He took to Wolverhampton and we took to him, he got us as fans and gave us memories we will never forget and ones we never thought we would have. I'm glad he got his send off today he deserved nothing less and i'd wish him well what ever he does next.

The next few months are going to be really make or break for Fosun i would suggest, get the appointment and recruitment right and there's a real chance we can push on again, get it wrong and there's going to be a shit storm because of the love for Nuno. whichever way you look at it we have interesting times ahead and i'm kind of looking forward to it and hoping they get it spot on.

There's 100% truth in this. We all want Wolves to succeed so i'm sure we'll get behind whoever they choose. But get it wrong and it'll get horribly messy, maybe even to the point they might need to sell up.
I'm intruiged to see who we get. We will see the intent on that alone i reckon.

and Shi will be target number one. I heard at least three or four “I hope you know what you’re doing Jeff” calls today from the stand.

Could have written exactly the same (though probably not as well) even down to it being bloody Baltic in the NB upper.

That's why we don't make any noise. That and it taking 90 minutes to get your breath back from walking up all those stairs

completely wrong. that was jeff recognising nunos very special realtionship with the fans and leaving him to savour it.

Yep, spot on. Yesterday was Nuno's day with the fans, I'm sure Jeff has given him plenty of thanks in private.
