Ticket Prices 2021-22

no consultation with fans, they just do stuff.

They have said this utter bollocks is in response to contact from the fans. So it seems the whole idea is done because some fans complained they couldn't get a ticket even though they are members. So the solution seems to be put everyone in the same situation. Genius really, take a small problem and make it bigger....then sit back and read complaint letters/emails from the same fans that made the club do this saying they can't access tickets as other members are quicker on the phones/online.

If you are able to battle through the masses at 10am on a Monday morning to get a ticket...
The online system was good last time I used it...

Thankfully the Olympiacos game was one where I requested the £ back

On the loyalty points - They do remain for away games, so the 100 you get for being a member still valid there along with what they will carry over into the start of the new season

Away games are a bigger closed shop than homes games, but I think they'll be a virtual riot if they take the same approach to those outside of ASTH's.
They shouldn't bin the points on away games but clearly only takes a few fans to moan for big decisions, that will fuck off thousands more, to be made

It is, but if it isn't staggered for smaller portions of fans at a time i'd imagine it'll likely fall over?

Yep, it doesn’t matter how many points you get if they are all the same level. The key aspect is that folks will have been buying a product under the assumption that their loyalty points would be protected. Maybe they (me!) were mugs, but they might have innocently entered the contract believing their football club wouldn’t be the ones mugging them off. Yep, reading that back i sound naive indeed.

They use a queue system, so it shouldn't.

The club will be bombarded with hundreds of complaints the first day of sales for the Spurs game though. So many will get in the queue for 30-40 mins then be told "sold out"

It's not naive it's precedent.

Keeping them for away games, so the club have been crafty. That 100 you get still exists and so will the ones from the previous season just they have removed 1 element of that benefit.

...and just behind the 22.5k who have 1000

minor details...

Those who were members before this season *should* have their old LP numbers presuming the club do what they have done previously. So they at least ahead of the newbies in the race to not be abe to get a ticket for the early season away games

If they are trying to spin this as them being paragons of virtue, maybe they will scrap loyalty points for away fans too....

EDIT: I see Kenny made this point further up.

Might be worth knocking down and rebuilding a stand or two 18 months ago to help increase the ticket availability

Do we know how many fans are Wolves members?
If I were twirling my Dick Dastardly moustache I'd suggest it's part of a wider plan to make fans less reluctant to leave Molineux. Jeff has as good as said that'd be his preferred option, but the fans won't have it

I'm all for a new Stadium (within reason). Keep Molineux as an impressive U23 base...
