Couldn't see a thread open unless we're counting our friend Simon's trying to flog tickets.

Depends what happens tomorrow I suppose, but I don't think we'll get the number of changes people want.

I would go:

----------------------------Sa----------------------

---------------Boly--------Coady------Kilman-------

Semedo-----------Moutinho-------Neves------Ait-Nouri

--------------Podence-----Raul-------Hwang-------------

But I very much doubt that will happen.

2020/21: D 1-1 (H), W 2-1 (A), L 0-2 (H, FAC)
2019/20: D 1-1 (H), W 3-2 (A)
2018/19: W 2-0 (H), L 1-3 (A)
2017/18: W 2-0 (A, LC)
2008/9: W 3-0 (H), W 2-1 (A)
2007/8: D 2-2 (H), D 0-0 (A)
2006/7: L 0-6 (H), L 0-2 (A)
2005/6: D 0-0 (H), D 0-0 (A)
2002/3: L 0-2 (A, FAC)

Quick quiz: Who made his only Wolves appearance away at Southampton in November 2006?

If Boly comes in for Saiss, what's the consensus on where he should play?

I'm not keen on moving Kilman over to the left as he's had a decent run of form, Saturday aside. And we know Boly can play on the left, as he did when he first started.

Kilman on the right is really awkward, we're only doing it because Saiss is rubbish there.

Difficult one, Southampton seem to have been playing 442 which would put Ward-Prowse & Romeu up against Neves & Moutinho. No one is setting any speed records but I think we've struggled with Romeu's physicality before.

I think I'd be favouring a narrower 352 with Hwang in the 10 and Podence playing off Raul.

SA
Boly Coady Kilman
Semedo Neves Dendoncker RAN
Hwang
Raul Podence

If it goes to shit bring on Traore to sling crosses over

Just play RAN and Boly, sack off Trincao +/- Traore, then play Hwang and Podence.

Put those is any system you want. 4231, 343, 3412

I’m not too fussed on the 3 vs 4 at the back now. Playing actual WBs and players who might be able to score will probably solve our problems without wholesale changes.

Sa
Semedo—Boly—Kilman—RAN
Donk—Neves
Trincao————Podence
Raul—Hwang
Time for something different. This matches Soton’s formation.

Sa
Mosquera - Coady - Boly
Semedo - Neves - Moutinho - RAN
Pod
Raul - Hwang

Kilman is nowhere near capable of playing in a back four.
He's impressed me this season, bar that one rick which should've been covered by Coady (who's been absolutely dire in every game this season).

Think he could cope in a 4 well with Donk in front/ covering from deep midfield.

Not a hope. He looked awful in the second half against Brentford.

I've seen planets turn quicker.

That's his one bad game. He's looked plenty good enough in the others.

Lots of defenders slower than Kilman. His reading of the game is decent too.
