Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

International Law? No thanks, we're British...

Alex the not so great told Ian Paisley jnr that he planned to rip up the NI protocol prior to the general election in 2019. This confirms the Cummings story of earlier today.
So he went to the electorate telling the country that he had an oven ready deal that would get Brexit done, whilst telling those who weren’t happy with it that it wasn’t his intention to abide by it.

Leo Varadkar was fairly damning. “Britain often appears to deal in bad faith, and those with whom Britain is attempting to negotiate trade deals should remember that.”

Such a shame the fat cunt is on holiday and not available to answer these accusations. All a coincidence of course.

Aces, our energy 'supplier' has just gone bust. Second year in a row. Its such an utterly nonsense system.

They were actually one of the better run ones, the house of cards might all come tumbling down very quickly.

I’m with bulb and I’ve developed credit over the summer. If they were to go bust too do I lose my money?

No. Your balance should transfer over to your new supplier. If they go bust just take screenshots of your credit and download your last few bills. Oh and take picrtures of your meters for the readings.

I had to do all that as Green went bust a couple of weeks ago and am now with Shell Energy. Ofgem appoint the new supplier and it all switches in the background, you don't need to do a thing.

Has your DD been increased?
I'm with Bulb and have got about £250 credit, yet they're still increasing my DD by £20ish

The process works pretty well, mostly as the companies which go bust don’t actually go anything other than send bills out.

Ours too, just found out. We were with Pure Planet. Not sure what happens now, think we just get switched by Ofgem, capped at our current deal?

Edit: just read TSB's post.

No point looking at actively switching at the moment - they're all actually losing money as gas is costing more than they're legally allowed to charge the consumer, so everyone will be about the same, unless you were lucky/smart enough to price yourself in at a lower fixed price a way back. Just let them do their thing, it won't impact on anything.

They can be real dicks with DDs though - if you're not careful, they'll overcharge you through the spring and summer so you build up credit in advance of the bills increasing in the winter. No mate, just charge me for what I've used. If I end up using more in November and December, then bill me for that when I've done it.

You’ll pay more if that the case - they (should) use the summer overpayment to hedge pre-orders on energy for the winter. Don’t do that and you pay more, or they go bust.

They're all going bust anyway :D

Well, not my lot (SSE). They are shite to deal with to be honest but none of them are particularly great, so I just leave it.
