General Wolves News

I doubt there's much more to it than they don't want to pay $15-$20k to ship a container of tat that they will then give away for free
Seems an odd decision to make given the bad PR and for $20k?

Not even the same cost as 2 days of João Moutinho's presence.

This is pretty much my view on it. Waiting for the costs to come down and we'll get it in January. Very poor for the sake of causing a minor annoyance. I probably haven't even worn the hat and stuff from previous seasons but the principle is I've paid for it so I expect it to be honoured.

I would think Fosun aren't much bothered about sorting it out quickly because not many fans give a fuck about some worthless tat that they've been told they will receive eventually.
Did anyone buy a membership to get some free stuff? I doubt it. Personally the only reason I am a member is to get an earlier chance to get tickets. Do I think its right? No, is it overpriced? Yes, will it stop me paying out 35 quid that I can afford? No, until we slide down the league and tickets are easily available.

Not exactly Wolves news, but they do have a lot of Wolves content. Great value at a quid a month for 12 months to be honest.

btw, i am not affiliated to them in anyway. Just sharing in case anyone wanting a subscription missed this offer.
Thanks for the heads up. Plenty on here subscribe to the Athletic but look for a good deal when renewing.
The lead writer on Wolves is a bit marmite with the good folk of this forum.

I got the quid per month for 12 months last year myself.
Yea, i know Timmy isn't loved by certain folk on here, but to give him a bit of credit he does put regular in depth pieces on Wolves on there (whether you like them or not), and there's aren't many other places that do that.

Similarly got the quid a month. Cancelled and got an email to renew for a year for £7.89. no idea how they make any money.

Robert Plant was on Talksport Breakfast this morning and was really good to listen to. Spoke of his love for us of course, Bully, Kenny Hibbit, Code Red, etc but best of all he was ripping the piss out of Agbonlashit (who earlier admitted to never having heard of Led Zeppelin)

Can't stand him but he is getting more and more regular on there now

Read something that Lage is evaluating Jordao over the next 6 weeks, as he returns to full training following his injury, to assess what to do with him in January. Do we think there is potential for him to contribute at all this season or do we loan him out again and basically write off his career at Wolves?

There's potential there for sure, but he just never seems to be able to stay fit long enough to prove it.

Provided he can stay fit and prove to Bruno he has a future here, then it would be mad to not give him a chance, hopefully he'll show enough to be included over Christmas. Let's face it we are down to the bare bones in midfield and need someone over that busy period and on into the rest of the season. If he's not up to it, then in reality we'll have to sign some journeyman to get by till next season......I'm not holding my breath for a star midfielder in January.

Regardless of Bruno’s potential, I don’t think he’s the archetype of midfielder we need at the moment.

It's probably a ridulous thing to say cos I've only seen a few minutes of him play but I will anyway, for the 20 minutes I saw he looks to be the exact type of midfielder we need..... whether he's good enough remains to be seen.

He's certainly more of a ball carrying type than any other midfielder in the squad but whether he has the quality to do it at the top level remains to be seen. I liked what I saw of him in the limited minutes.
