Everton 0-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

The genuinely think they are going to get £150m plus in sales. It is glorious. Who is paying £20m for one year left permanently broken Mina? Plus these guys are on massive salaries and wont be overly keen on giving them up.
 
That club is rotten, I'm not sure I'd even take Doucoure at this point.

They reminded me of us in 2011/2012. Maybe worse given they have better players.
 
DCL I don't think so now. Pickford. Hmm £15m. Richarlison £40m. Godfrey £20m.
 
DCL will obviously command a big fee. 25, English, 29 PL goals in the two seasons before this one (wrecked by injury, but it's nothing terminal or a problem that's going to linger forever), big and strong, no attitude issues. £40m on him alone, easily.

Yeah, we were just horribly out of our depth, some players coming to the natural end of the road given limited talent, our two big signings flopped hard, another key player (Doyle) totally lost it and never regained it.

It's not a very good squad but they shouldn't be anywhere near relegation.
 
I wonder if one of the rich MLS owners won't try to turn his head.

Seems the sort who would prioritize money. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with that.
 
If you told me he was going to MLS, China, or somewhere in the Arab Peninsula for a big old payday, I'd find that perfectly believable.

I don't want him here but I know his personality would resonate with American sports fans.
 
I'll wait for this list of Premier League quality English players - nay, current England internationals - who've decided to go and play in America, China or some shit desert league in their mid 20s. Should be good.

South Americans sometimes do it but that isn't the same thing.

DCL is a top class forward man. He'd be great here.

Ok, maybe. I don't think so but maybe.

My issue with Richarlison is you never know what you're getting from one day to the next. I've seen him look like peak original Ronaldo against us and I've seen him look like a shit Marcus Bent against us.
