General Wolves News

It was free up until a few years ago.

I find it strange that the club are consistently fleecing fans and people are happy about it.
Whilst people pay they will find more ways to charge until they don't. Vinny is a simple man.
He will do the same with tickets happy the pay £29...try £32...Happy with £32 etc etc.
Does it this summer it *should* backfire as long as people put paying bills, eating and being warm ahead of attending games.

Occasionally they slip up and do good things, like the travel and tickets to the U23 game with the small amount charged donated to the Feed the Pack

ST proces still haven't been released yet have they, which seems a bit odd to me.
Seeing a lot more people, including people who have never suggested they might have any issues worried about the cost of living increases. It really seems to be affecting everyone, and one wonders the extent to which the club are likely to take this on board.

They won't give a shit. They're more likely to raise prices to offset their own rising energy costs.

There are too many people who think it's the trendy thing to do to back the club no matter what they do. You only have to look at comments from fans and even some in the media to the recent increases in prices for evidence, people thinking they are being considered by saying bollocks like "People actually want top class players and to pay Championship prices" while that's still a theme on the scale it is they'll just keep doing it.

Where to even start with that.

Back of a fag packet maths suggests that last year's totally unjustifiable price hikes earned the club an extra £2m at absolute most (and that's a one off "windfall", we don't get it again unless we bump the prices up again, which would be unconscionable in the current situation), what on earth is that buying us, really?

There might be a section of noisy club acolytes but nearly everyone I speak to is pissed off with their attitude towards the fans, let alone the fact that the club generates money without the owners having to do anything, and we don't spend it.

“We need to score more goals”, though?

Credit to Lage & the team for turning this particular area of the game around. Be great if we could tighten it up at the back like a month or two ago as well as keeping up with the teams above in the goal scoring charts.

Well it was true when people were saying it, at the time we'd only scored 10 at home all season (and it was only three home games ago).
And in that period have lost another 3 at home, but if you have an agenda it's always good to display it in a distorted way. As it's clearly being positioned as a Bruno referendum then for me the jury is very much out, see Johnny's post earlier in the thread for detail. Some good, some bad, some average. In the same period there are 4 games, West Ham, Arsenal, Leeds and Palace where he cost us any chance of getting anything.

Going at 1.5 goal per game in that period which isn’t anything special in isolation but is good with a stingey defence, we’ve only conceded 1 goal per game in the same period.

However it’s a largely pointless statistic as we’ve played 3 more than City, 4 more than Chelsea, 4 more than Arsenal, 3 more than Leicester, 1 more than United and West Ham. All the other teams are terrible so we should be scoring more than them. Also doesn’t factor in that it conveniently includes zero games against the best 3 sides.

Shit statistic to use to take a pointless dig.

Pointless digs keep the forum turning...

Jesus Christ. It wasn’t a “pointless dig”. It flashed up on the screen earlier and genuinely surprised me.

I’m also one of the ones saying we should score more.

If I put >£25 in the basket it doesn't offer me a free shirt. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Can anyone else get the offer?
