Can’t beat Burnley or Norwich or even score against them . It’s pathetic . We don’t deserve Europe. Rebuild required to avoid a struggle next season.

We just look utterly clueless going forward. I don't see a plan; we rely entirely on beating the first defender 1v1 but we don't have the quality to do that consistently or follow it up with a good pass if it does succeed.

That's on Bruno, IMO, and I won't shed any tears if he's gone in a month.

To be replaced by who? He and Nuno have got the same tune out of this squad. Sometimes you have to change the players and for us that has been the case for two years.

Manager sets the attitude and style of play. We rarely attack or create goalscoring opportunities regardless of who the players are.
We do both but cannot finish our dinner.

Have to say I’m quickly losing patience with Bruno and there’s probably only 3 or 4 players in the squad that I’d be genuinely bothered to see leave.

We could be playing in a week and still wouldn’t score - and I’ve said that far too many times this season. Boring, predictable shite. Burnley are awful and we’ve not even created a gilt edged chance. Embarrassing.

Really struggling to find any positives re-started like we ended up 16 days ago. Lacklustre and lazy sum us up.
I’ll say again whoever sanctioned the Hwang signing needs to be sacked.

Our problems are deeper than the manager.

If we can only defend with 3 at the back it means we can’t defend. We can’t score with 3 up top and this has been the same under two managers. Our most successful spell was as a 3-5-2 and we’ve binned that once we bought that stupid fucking twat on loan at Barca.

Fosun can fuck right off as I think they and their stooge are the biggest problem of all right now.

What has Trincao done since he came on?
He bottled a tackle pretty successfully.

Would have preferred to see Chiquinho, that's a given though, desire and energy!

I can understand why Bruno hasn't started Neto, he has looked poor since he came back, but then again, only game time is going to make him sharp.

TT called the W2 L4 and even that is looking optimistic

Raul out wide. Subbing Fabio instead of Hwang. Unfathomable. Too much No and not enough Woah. Bruno's failed to capitalise on numerous opportunities now, I know he hasn't been backed in the market but I doubt even that would change things. I've had my doubts about him for a few weeks now but I think I've fallen off the fence and just don't think he's anywhere near good enough.

We're 8th, which is far better than i expected at the start of the season, so there is no way that i would be calling for his head, especially as the tools he has been given to work with are basically the same as what Nuno had who finished 13th.

However, his loyalty to Hwang (who was better today) and Trincao is pissing me off, especially when every time I see Chiquinho i'm impressed, also clearly Fabio was the best of the 3 forwards today.

Trying to decide if we've gone shit or regressing to the mean.

Solskjaer finished 2nd last season. It was so obviously a misleading position.

There are numerous teams below us who are better. And I don't want Lage in charge of new players because there's very little to suggest he'll get anything out of them.

We're dull, we lack fight, we next to never come from behind and he is awful tactically. Can't wait for him to say later that we played well for the full house.

This is roughly where I am, I think. Did a job at Benfica but...it's Benfica. He doesn't have a squad that's fundamentally stronger than 99% of the league anymore and can't seem to get a tune out of them more than once in a blue moon.

As much as the idea of a full rebuild is problematic its to the point where I tend to agree its needed. Unfortunately that will likely involve Neves going as we simple won't be able to finance it otherwise, unless Mendes pulls some transfer voodoo.

I’d be delighted if we never had to play Burnley ever again. Such a predictable result.

I’m bored with Bruno. I’d say that I wouldn’t care less if he was replaced at the end of the season but that’s not strictly true as I’d have no faith in Jeff/Fosun to appoint anybody decent.

I can’t believe the contrast between this and Nuno’s first couple of seasons. The excitement has all gone. I used to be able to watch Jota every week and now we have the likes of Hwang & Trincao. Meh.

The most frustrating part is that with a bit more ambition and some half decent recruitment we could have been Europa League regulars by now. It wouldn’t have taken much.
