Neves we know what he is capable of and he did it. Sa was seen as a cheap Rui replacement who has excelled against the initial majority view. So I have gone for the big guy with the crazy beard

Yeah but it's not the 'I thought he'd be shit and he isn't' award. Otherwise I'd have voted for Chris Iwelumo and Ryan Bennett in the past.

It's literally 'who has been our best player', no other factors. This is how we ended up with Stearman and Doherty winning before...

I’ve gone for Ruben. Just about. Tough call between him and Sa though

Sa for me.

Sad bit is that three months ago, I thought Kilman had this locked up.

As much as Sa is an above average goalkeeper having a good year, I'm still uncomfortable having an animal mutilator in our team (or did we all move on from that yet?).

Edit: sorry to bring the tone down!

Has to be Neves - a class act who will not (& shouldn't be with us) next year as he really needs to play for a club challenging at the top end.

Sa did well, but hia momenta of wandering off out of the area just takes the edge off. Kilman should get a mention as he's done superbly even if not at the level to win this.

An image that the club was happy to use in its own publicity shots.

Neves for me. By far and away our best and most consistent performer. I love Sa and Kilman has been great too, but there's no coincidence that we've had some of our poorest games since Neves was injured.

That's not how I voted. Sa has been brilliant , unexpectedly. Neves I expect to be Brilliant. I cant argue with either choice and by the looks of it nor can many else on the poll!

what is this in reference to?

He has staffies (I think but they could be other pitbull breeds) with cropped ears.
