It is such an obscure name to throw out on there on our links to players that why it holds some water for me. Plus he has been sent over there before.

Get the bookmarked post, makes no difference to anything does it? If we were serious, we sent someone over to speak to the player as other clubs were circling. if not serious and the links were bollocks we have lost nothing and done nowt wrong if there was no interest in him.

I mean he could pester Nunes at his family BBQ or he could pop in and watch the Brazilian Serie A games currently being played. That or he could fire up FM22 from his lounge - depends which version of events you believe.
 
I mean if he is anything like me he has definitely exploited any sort of chance he has to go away for work or suggest he needs to be on a certain trip, training event etc!
 
I'm glad he's going to Benfica, not because I don't rate him as I don't know anything about him but because we won't spend the next month hoping River Plate get knocked out. We can move on to our next fictional or otherwise target

Chosen the well trodden path for South American players. Coming to the premier league too early can be disastrous so he’s probably getting the right advice from his agent.

Not especially. Maybe over the last couple of years but I think that’s fair when the majority of that time has been abject failure after abject failure (on the transfer front).

I’m definitely not the only person who’s critical of the clubs business either, but I’m sure as hell the only one you call out. Make of that what you will 🤷‍♂️
 
Everyone is critical of the club’s business but not everyone feels the need to rage about it everyday.

There will always be people we miss out on (talisca anyone?) doesn’t necessarily mean it’s time to rage.

I agree. There’s been plenty of “rage”, or as I see them, fairly reasonable critical comments on pretty much every page of this thread. Again, none of them called out.

At least the sun is shining here this evening. Small wins.

Huh! You mean he’s gone all that way spending good money. That could have gone towards fixing that bloody tap in the lower Steve Bull gents toilet that’s not worked for the last 2 years. Bloody wasting the clubs money again!!!
