A couple of fixtures have been confirmed... finally.

While we are over in Spain we will play:

Deportivo Alaves - relegated from La Liga last season
Besiktas - just confirmed the signing of our old pal Romain Saiss today

Looks like they are still trying to sort the other games out then 🤦‍♂️

I don't get why we're not playing villareal and valencia given they were also in the USA tourney and will be in the same boat

Playing Levante when in Spain.

Burnley away behind closed doors on July 9th. Not even going to have a season off from losing up there

Will be in Portugal the week before the season starts.. Will play our final game over there.

E&S bit on it, they seem to think Burnley, Alaves, Besiktas, Levante and SC Unknown will be our lot this summer. I would expect a couple more behind closed door games, if things gets desperate we can have a 5 a-side with Derby

This means Wolves will not play any UK friendlies open to supporters this summer. On July 9 the squad will face Burnley in a behind closed doors friendly at Compton before they fly to Alicante the following week.
During their camp in Spain, Wolves will play Deportivo Alaves on Wednesday, July 20 before a clash with Besiktas on Saturday, July 23 – with both fixtures open to supporters. However, Lage’s men will also face another behind closed doors friendly with Spanish side Levante on July 21. All of the fixtures will give Lage an opportunity to assess his squad, decide how he will approach the new season and take a look at some young stars.

Guessing his main reaction is going to be "where the fuck is my squad"

Add undercooked to every other piece of criticism then
Not sure how many games others are playing but a short gap between end of season and start playing its part in preparation.

I know we were moaning at late announcement on games but looking around a lot of teams are still announcing games this week.

I admire your defense of the club on a number of topics Kenny because they haven't done much to deserve any benefit of the doubt with their actions recently.

I guess that comes down to what we are doing. If we are rolling out the same old players, in the same old formation then I think that's true. There is still a very small part of me that hopes we may have different players in a different formation who will need the games though

It's not a defence at all. I've been critical on here just that my first reaction isn't to go in 2 feet on being negative. Not everything is a fuck up and sometimes the reactions can be over the top, so I prefer to look at things, try and find an explanation for things and then I will call out Scott, Jeff, Vinny etc.

Last year it was the squad thinking 'who the fuck is this guy'...
Neves was and he spoke to some kid at Atletico who told him Lage is a top coach who will push and improve him.

All about the bantz is Joao Felix..

Fair enough but I'd say there are a large number of things that are a massive fuck up at the moment overseen by people who don't really have any business being in the roles they are. I hope something changes soon because otherwise its probably not going to end well.

Oh I agree and have said as much a few times this week
