Summer 2022 Transfer Window

Can’t wait for us to not sign anyone before the perm Hwang transfer is announced on 1st July.

The social media team better brace themselves for that one 😂

He's Korean
He's only been shit for a season
We've signed him for a none football reason
He's Hwang Hee Chan

Can proudly say I never ever sung his song or Cutrone’s. Not due to them being shit, just because they were grammatically incorrect or didn’t rhyme. Sometimes my pettiness works out for the best.

AC Milan fans must be going nuts. Their 2 top targets nicked and months of talks wasted

Can imagine you'll be front and centre following up every tweet with sign some players.

Wit that sharp ought to come with a health warning.
Depends whether I have my notifications on, on that particular day ;-)

I can’t believe how quickly time seems to pass nowadays. It will soon be McBurnie time again.

Birmingham Mail reporting that any move for Nunes has been “blocked”, due to Neves still being here. Basically if we keep hold of Neves it’s unlikely we’ll sign another first team ready midfielder (ridiculous considering we need a different type of midfielder regardless of whether Neves stays or not).

Also reporting that we have missed out on Palhinha because of the Neves situation even though we were interested.

To me, it’s absolutely clear at this point of the window that we need to sell to buy, just in case anyone still had doubts.

Both make sense to me though, Nunes is likely to cost upwards of 40m, how many teams outside the top 6 outlay that on one player. Palhinha and Neves wouldn't work together and the only other interest he has is newly promoted Fulham, which should tell you all you need to know about his ability.

I think it’s clear we’re doing the bare minimum to exist in the Premier League, complete utter hypocrisy “you the fan base spend your hard earned cash on season tickets new shirts and merchandise” “ in return we’ll give you next to nothing to get excited about and just be happy you’re in the big league”
So so nieve it’s untrue to a point it looks like wilful negligence. Current policy means relegation is inevitable within 5 years if not sooner.

City, Liverpool, Utd, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, Wham, Newcastle, Villa, Everton and Leicester all in recent years

That's half the league.

And we spent €40 as recently as two seasons ago on a player not yet ready for a first team gig.

I never will understand this as a measure of a players ability.

For example, what other clubs were in for Jonny, Moutinho or Rui Patricio when we signed them as a newly promoted club? Were/are they shit?

If Fosun had any ambition there’s no way Bruno would’ve stayed in charge going into next season.
Keeping him is an easy option they can point to the fact we came top half and improved our points tally so keeping him makes good sense.
Means no compensation pay outs or having to find a replacement.
This will all unravel for Jeff and Fosun very quickly and it’ll be to late for them to rectify the situation.

He was employed to be a yes man. It was as clear as day at the time. He'll be here until we look like we are going down, which at the current rate will be Autumn time
