General Wolves News

Just an FYI for those who travel from distance. There's a rail strike on 13th August, we play Fulham at home that day.

Nice enough. I’d rather we spent the money on a striker though :)

Given that a match ticket is circa £35 and the museum entry normally costs less than a tenner, I hope the buffet is good! My predicted take up? Low
So your target market is people/families who haven't bought a ticket for the game, aren't on holiday but are sufficiently interested in Wolves that they'll spend £245 for an adult and a child to do something that has been available for years and they've not bothered with before.
Where do they think the monies coming from? Not in touch with the real world

Wolves v Fulham, Saturday 13th August, Kick off 3pm

The matchday Museum experience package includes a welcome drink, meet & greet with a former Wolves player, exclusive buffet, guided tour of Wolves Museum, seats in the Stan Cullis Stand, and car parking.

Tickets are £160.00 per adult, and £85.00 for under 12’s.

Certainly not targeted at normal income families, more those with a large income that sometimes do corporate.

The club do plenty of offers around the museum with families across the season. Only fault for me on this one is sending it out as a generic mail shot rather than targeting the market they will attract to the offer

The museum and stadium tour is very worthwhile but I can't imagine there'll be many buyers at those sort of prices.

That got a good chuckle out of me, have to say.

"Trade Nation" become our official trading partner. Trading forex, commodities and the like. Over 82% of retail customers lose money on their platform, so another really ethical move by the club that's definitely not going to result in fans losing money.

The Wolves press release at the end confuses me. Are they saying the company has 82% of customers lose money or the 82% of people using any FX Trading platform lose?

On one hand, good they have to openly tell people stuff like this (presuming it's a legal thing as no chance any company openly says it) but on t'other it's essentially just another form of gambling. Whilst it's all legal won't be many that say thanks for the huge offer of money but will have to say no.

For morals etc, football isn't the best place to try and find them.

What next, Wolves merchandise via an MLM. Season ticket holders get a discount if they become sellers and recruit others.

I sort of recruited Paddy many, many years ago. Can I get some retrospective money back?
