I have to comment about Gross, who I thought acted like a thug. He is a quality player but he targetted Lemina, first flattening him with the strong shoulder to his chest just outside their area, and then raking Lemina's heel, an action he has got sent off for previously.

The idea is that a blue card has a 'higher' punishment level than a yellow, so a blue/yellow card followed by a yellow/blue card means a red card is issued. The problem IMO will be in the application.

I liked Jonny too, but I think Frank Munro was better and IMO Jonny wasn't even our best full back, I think that crown should be worn by Derek Parkin.

I give GON his due, but I think the main incentive in this match, IMO, was Lemina's loss. Hopefully the team will now realise what they are capable of, and improve performances regularly.
