[FA Cup 4th Rnd] Wolves 1-0 Brighton: Verdict Thread

Hwang was awful tonight but, to be honest, I don’t think he is (and now there is no doubt about it) 100% fit.

Thought Doyle and Santi were top notch tonight. Two very good performances.

Wolves 1-0 Sheff Utd: Verdict Thread

Sounded a forgettable performance (I was at work) but credit to O’Neil for taking responsibility for a shambolic second half. If nothing else it’s Leadership 101 to blame yourself and take the limelight off your players.

    The Summer 2024 Transfer Thread.

It’s a shame Klopp is leaving Liverpool as he would have absolutely soared there. I’m with you - £70-80m is absolutely silly money but the key is to reinvest it wisely. Neto won’t throw his toys out of the pram to get a big move either, he seems to have a top notch attitude and will hold out...

    Welcome to Wolves Pablo Sarabia

I’m going to throw Pablo Sarabia a bit of love this season. He’s in and out of the team at times but has 6 assists, creating 3.4 chances every 90 minutes (the highest in the Premier League). Class is permanent.

    Sheff Utd (H) 25/2: Build-Up & Match Thread

Not sure I’m aboard the “Wolves are going to Europe” bandwagon but our run until the end of the season is very favourable to say the least - every chance we could hit 55-60 points this season which is absolutely frightening.

    There goes Julen!

I’m glad we got rid. He would have thrown his toys out of the pram every single time he didn’t get his own way. He was perfect at the time to get us out of a very sticky situation - not sure anyone else would have done it (and we’ll never know) - but good riddance.

    Tottenham 1-2 Wolves: Verdict Thread

I really worried we’d struggle in an attacking sense without Cunha but, once again, O’Neil proved me wrong. Tactics were spot on even if it wasn’t pretty at times, but we were fantastic. And we have a lot of excellent players, but Gomes is the jewel in the crown. Semedo was sensational too and...

As someone who has a lot of experience in graphic design/film software, that's a proper Windows Movie Maker and MS Paint special. Blimey. You can get Canva for free mate.

[FA Cup 4th Rnd] West Brom 0-2 Wolves: Verdict Thread

It was a really professional job where the players and O'Neil didn't get swept up in the atmosphere, which is so easy to do in derby games. I was very impressed.

O'Neil In, Out and Shaking it all about

As I said on the WBA verdict thread, I can't quite work out what has changed with this team - it's just generally a lot fitter, more professional, and confident. We play a back three but not at the expense of attacking flair now: I don't know if that's because the midfield is generally bit more...

[FA Cup 4th Rnd] West Brom 0-2 Wolves: Verdict Thread

There’s no way to stop it, it’s just the nature of morons. Even if off licences and supermarkets shut on the day of games people would just buy the night before or a week in advance.

[FA Cup 4th Rnd] West Brom 0-2 Wolves: Verdict Thread

There probably would have been outside the ground, there always is, but not inside. Problem with these games is you always get the 'day trippers' who just go for a scrap.

[FA Cup 4th Rnd] West Brom 0-2 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Always the way in these situations: Fellows is a good player but will probably go for £2-3m as clubs know of Albion's financial difficulty and need for cash flow. I can't fathom why Fellows didn't start or their first choice keeper. Poor by Corberan who I rate as a manager.
