Terrific result under the circumstances. Pod and Neto excellent.

Hopefully Raul just has a dose of concussion and no permanent damage.

Bit worried we won’t see Raul for a very long time. Disgraceful that anyone going in with their foot at pace and out of control and it’s a red - head, no problem; play on and spread blood all over the place.

Fantastic win. So proud of this team, let us never ever doubt this group.

hoping Raul is OK.

Good performance made all the more enjoyable because VAR hasn't reared its ugly head. All played well but Traore needs to follow the example of Neto when it comes to working your socks off in the last 10 minutes.

Hope Raul is ok, it looked awful. Good that he’s conscious and responding so hopefully now it’s just a concussion.

I still don’t understand how Coady can be milliseconds late on lacazette and gets booked, but luiz can put his head on Raul after Raul has headed the ball away but that’s okay?

on the game, I thought we were excellent - Neto was deservedly MOTM and pod and Traore were really lively. I thought moutinho was superb, and silva did really well with his link up play. Marcal was excellent as were all the defence really.

not sure what happened to Donk, he was on the periphery of the game and not winning much - and if he’s not winning tackles or headers then he doesn’t contribute.

an excellent win, up to sixth - really hope Raul is ok.

Coady clearly shaken by Raul's injury. Seeing him interviewed makes the performance all the more impressive.

Excellent performance, hanging on for last 15 minutes but superb for first 60. All our front players were terrific but hard to criticise anyone, just wish Donk could find the back of the net with one of his chances.
Really pleased for Fabio, thought he had a really good game.
Just need some more good news on Raul now

We're surely not keeping this thread title are we ?

Yeah he was against Gabriel for a lot of that game and improved as it went on. He did well.

For all Neto's running at the end I think it was more to the detriment of the team overall, if it's going through to the opposition keeper in the last 5 minutes or so when you're defending a lead then just let him have it, drop back into your defensive shape and get your breath back. Half the time he was just sprinting up there alone and a simple pass from Leno took him straight out of the game giving Arsenal a numerical advantage, sometimes you need to work smarter not harder.

Decent performance overall, somewhat frustrating on one hand to see the ball being moved around with such ease and tempo when for large periods of this season it's been a struggle to look that coherent, but whatever way that improvement comes about you'll take it.

Biggest thing from tonight for me would be Silva, barely made a dent in the game on any of his previous cameos but a really promising performance today, comes in short to get involved and stitch things together, keeps it simple to retain possession and seems to give a bit of consideration to getting in the box so he can time he run to properly attack things. In the same way that last week perhaps gave Nuno something fresh to consider by forcing the back four on him, I'd hope that Silva has done the same now, if he can replicate that performance then he's a serious alternative to Jimenez that means the latter doesn't have to be kept on the pitch at all costs anymore. Genuinely the best centre forward performance in a Wolves shirt so far this season.

Whilst the result wasn't important after the injury it is really satisfying to beat them there.

Neto was superb and a really good finish by Podence. Good performance by Fabio whilst he was on as well.

Just need good news on Raul now.

Think that may be Raul out for most of December sadly, but would like to give a mention for Fabio Silva - thought he played really well and was instrumental in the first two goals with pulling Arsenal players out of position. Clever player.

Magnificent team performance, after a devastating injury to Raul. I do wish football had something similar to how rugby can cite a player after the game whose recklessness and dangerous play has been missed on the day by both referee and VAR. For me, Luiz should have been red-carded, flying himself at Raul's head like a bullet. Raul could be out for some time and still could suffer some latent head damage.

In the game, I thought Neto was outstanding and Coady marshalled the back four very well. Marcal was also impressive and everyone in the team played extremely well. Wolves look a strong attacking unit with the formation they played today.

some really promising play today. great way to win.

hoping Raul is relatively well. looked nasty. horrible sight to see him leave the field like that.

Nuno says Raul is talking.

At the top end of the pitch, Podence, Neto & Adama were all fantastic - particularly Podence & Neto. Neto’s work rate is out of this world.

Defensively, I’ve already made it clear in the match day thread how much I like Marcal - all sides need a proper professional player like that who just stays calm and makes things look easy - he’s that guy for us. If we are keeping to this 4 at the back system, he has to start.

Coady was massive. No doubt he can play in a back 4 now and that makes things very interesting on the England front. In the first half in particular some of his passing was the Coady we know and love, but his positioning and little interceptions at vital moments kept us ahead.

Moutinho was superb. Twice as many tackles than any other player on the pitch, I’m reading. Mad that people were writing him off not so long ago.

Donk perhaps the only player below par today.

I felt Nuno handed the initiative to Arsenal by taking Podence off today. I know they didn’t have a shot on target in the second half, but for 5-10 minutes they were all over us and it only takes a second to score. Thankfully we held on and for me, it’s the most entertaining 90 minutes of the season so far. Let’s kick on from here - up to 6th, let’s see where we can go. The system is exciting though.

As for Raul, thoughts with him and his family. It sounds like he’s doing ok, from what Nuno is just saying now. I wish him a speedy recovery.
