Idiotic from Aston Martin, wouldn't gave taken them many laps of fuel saving behind Ocon to cover that off.

I’m sure Horner is loving that too!
Extra point for Max...

On the tyre changes, hadn't occurred to me at the time that Lewis was essentially screwed whatever he chose to do. Goes into the pits, his is the first garage so not getting back out in 1st and more than likely in a similar position to where he ended up anyway.

Did like Russell's cheeky run on the outside of the pitlane exit to nab 8 places...shame he had to give them back.

He would have been held up but would probably have found a gap somewhere. Even if he waited for the train he still wouldn't have come out last.

Exactly. Couldn’t have done worse than last. As you say even if he waited till the end they’d still have had to do their stops and as result he will have passed a couple and few others would have been waiting for him.

Seen Merc say they think he would have been 9th/10th. So 4 or 5 positions better off if everything went to plan.

So, Perez will get a 10 place grid penalty for changing his engine despite it being damaged by Bottas who will only get a 5 place grid penalty :D

Ouch. Horner will be a delight on his holiday!

Max will probably get a grid penalty at some point as his unit was borked so won't have enought for the season. Charles will be the same as well.

Aston Martin confirm appeal against Sebastian Vettel's disqualification .Right of review request also initiated with team believing they have 'significant new evidence'

What new evidence have they found? 300ml is now officially a litre?

There was a broken pump that prevented the removal of the extra fuel. The car has stayed effectively in parc ferme so that could be a possibility I guess?

They said there was plenty of fuel available inside the car, but a technical issue meant they couldn't get enough out. They claim to have prove of how much was in there.

Aston Martin's appeal against the Vettel dq rejected as the new evidence is "not relevant".

Yeah the new evidence was deemed admissible, but not a good enough reason to overturn the result. Appears they didn't have the extra fuel, but actually had a leak although the rules don't give leeway for that.
