They’re paying Ronaldo £480,000 per week. If they can afford £50m+ for Neves I’ll eat my underwear…
 
Loan to permanent is obviously a decent deal with a clause in our favour. Short term not great, but happy to play the longer game on this one
 
Well tomorrow will be interesting! Glad I’m quite busy so I won’t be able to just sit and refresh all the news pages all day

Along with the rest of the footballing world, we all stare with envy at the great footballing behemoth that is Leicester City - the dynastic dominance, the trophy cabinet splintering at the seams, the City shirts spotted in Melbourne, Malawi and Montevideo - you’ve had a few good years, and you may well be the current yardstick for those outside the elite, but a touch of humility wouldn’t go amiss.
 
We have fans who turned their nose up at the thought of signing Lookman, are turning their nose up at signing Renato Sanches and numerous other proposed players.
I think the fans who need to realise where they are after 3 good seasons plus one average one and have a touch of humility are probably Wolves fans

Don’t disagree with that, Mike - it’s surprising how quickly the entitlement slips in…..but our foxy friend does seem to like to pontificate. I play golf in Leicestershire, and have to listen to it all the time!
 
Lookman would have been fine as cover, just like Hwang is fine as cover. He gives us more options off the bench than we already had and improves the squad by giving us a different type of player.
 
In fairness, there is only one person on here who has turned their nose up at Sanches.

I had no real opinion on Lookman. I just remember him being a right cock when trying that last minute panenka penalty for Fulham which didn't exactly endear him to me.
