Welcome new members

Afternoon all. I've been a long time lurker on this excellent forum for a long time now, used to have an account but it's lost so I've created another. I used to go to games fairly regularly when I lived in Bath but We moved to North Cornwall with a young family 10 years ago so have missed the new era at Molineux due to it being such a mission to get tickets and the obvious transport issues.
Managed to get to the ground for the Celta Vigo match with my two Wolves mad teenagers and my Dad who was brought up in Penn.
Absolutely loved being back in the ground and for a friendly that we lost, thoroughly enjoyed the match.
We go to watch Plymouth Argyle a lot as it's our closest league ground and although it's good fun (sometimes), it's not the same as your own team.
I've been a fan since as a 14 year old my Dad took me to the Sherpa van trophy final. Hooked ever since.
Just wanted to say thanks to the regular posters who offer fans like me an insight into the games and goings on at Molineux that I'd never get anywhere else. Really hope to get to a league game this year, my lads are desperate to go again.
Have a great time all of you lucky ones going to the spurs game, it's a special place when it's rocking.
Regards, Pastywolf

Hello all,

Wolves fan from the USA. This is my first season following the team and am quite enjoying it so far. Have always wanted a Prem team to follow, and didn't want to be like my friends who all support the same teams(Spurs, Chelsea, etc.) Picked Wolves mainly due to the interesting history of the club, some good podcasts, and in a more shallow vein I suppose lol, I absolutely love the badge and colors.

I work in school intervention(Essentially kids who are struggling in a traditional classroom setting I work with them so they won't fall behind), love anything archaelogy related, and am looking forward to getting involved even though I am sure my knowledge of the game is not as advanced as some on here.

Cheers all.

Welcome mate, archaeology will come in useful when checking out our trophy room.
Don't worry about football knowledge, I don't...do what most others do and blag it.

He's a fellow Tar Heel so we should be alright(y)

NC born and raised!

Thrilled to have another representative of the Old Gold in my backyard. How long you been following the club? I got officially roped in by the Blackburn 3 - 2 Wolves at the close of the 10/11 season.

EDIT: You said this is your first season. That’ll teach me to not read thoroughly!

Awesome to see a fellow Tar Heel on here as well. As I said above, this is my first season following the team and am loving it so far. My first Wolves apparel purchase, (A zip hoodie) was shipped today. Can't wait till it gets here.:D All of my friends are fans of the same old same old and I wanted to be unique. Loving my decision!

Looking forward to see Charlotte FC in action next season as well!

You have made a great decision about a choice of club to follow, although I admit I am biased!!!

I struggle to imagine what it must be like to be a fan of one of the big six. When you taste the lows (and our lows here have been marianas trench low) then the highs are so much sweeter. Without pain success has no context. But then if a big team hits a problem their fans have no clue how to deal with it going a bit shit. See Manchester United for details.
