Liverpool 3-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Hwang's worst performance for us and that's saying something. Neto and Raul were looking immense too until the former had to go off after just 21 minutes. Why oh why did he not bring Silva on instead of Hwang? Shameful from him and has to be our worst Premier League player ever?

Congratulations City, glad they won it but shame our result didn't contribute.

Dropped 2 places on the last day after being 8th for months, fucking typical

That game served to reinstate my stance on Bruno

a decent effort under the circumstances, and if we had taken half of our serious chances who knows.
BUT...... I know he cant trap a bag of cement, or pass go on a monopoly board. but i cannot ever excuse the fact that he cant run without falling over after three steps.
FFS silva and Chiquino on the bench and we get Hwang....... oh FFS.

or you can cover your eyes and pretend it's not happening...your call.

Massive changes needed for that not to be the case. We've spent the last 1/3 of a season with relegation form
I think that stance is too much in the gloom & doom spectrum. But I can see where it's coming from and understand. I would rather keep optimistic.

After all, 2022/23 will be the season I get to go back to Wolverhampton for a match.

At this point you have to assume that Bruno is under orders from Fosun to keep playing him to boost support in South Korea. There are zero justifiable football reasons for him to be even in the 1st team squad let alone playing regularly. He'd look bang average in League 2.
Yep, as said I’m just baffled. Don’t see a footballer there. He was bloody awful. Ironically actually had some options on that position

Just watched the Judah video. A guy who is more die hard than I am as he was there said I'd have taken 10th before the start of the season and if the results across the season were the other way we'd be happy. Not sure where to go with that tbf. Some fans seem to sleepwalking into what next season will be without a major correction

10th. Fuck this game, we actually played miles better than I thought we would albeit that we should have had three before they got their second, but come on. We were challenging for Europe, not just the shitty Conference League either, we were in with a shout of CL as stupid as it sounds. And we bottled it, big time. And that's on the manager. Spineless performances against Newcastle, Brighton, Norwich, Burnley, West Ham, Palace and the capitulation against Leeds are unforgivable.

Get shot of the man who oversaw all that FFS. Yes I know that's too much to ask for.

You know you are quoting Jinky? Hwang is pitiful at that point, it's Raul that costs the goal though
Nope, I had no idea it was jinky.

Split second decisions though, it was probably the only place Raul could really put it without the pass getting intercepted. If Hwang had the burners on he'd have got there

I'm very much on the Hwang is crap train, but that's not true. He doesn't have them

Even worse, the actual footage. Gotta love the subs reactions

Not sure that onbe was down to Hwang (though he shouldn't have been on the pitch - were other better options than him) as the pass from Raul was overhit.

The earlier chance should have been buried - as said a number of times he's really not a PL player. Dendoncker had an even better chance, but we know he's not a goalscorer and he didn't dissapoint.

Lage was impacted by Neto & Sa having to go off, but still didn't make the right choices. Don't think I want to retain him either.

Can’t stand hwang. But it was a poor ball by Raul. Can’t blame hwang. Can blame him for the chase and slide, mind. Hideous

I find the nieve attitude from some of our fan base baffling. Sorry if you literally can’t see what’s coming over the hill with things as they are then you’re beyond reasoning.
Seems to be a case of we came mid table so we can’t possibly sack the manager, yes in the 90’s coming 10th in the top flight and sacking the manager would seem bonkers.
Times are different, the league will be tougher next season only teams I’m certain will be worse than us are Bournemouth and Southampton maybe leeds the rest outside the big 6 could easily come above us.
Recruitment has to be spot on this summer and I don’t trust this regime to do that very worried.

At this point though Hwang had produced so much absolute utter shite that he became fair game for any criticism. He may not to be blame for that miss, but he earned the blame for his pub footballer display prior and after.

Please Fosun get the absolute waste of skin out of Wolves.

Yep over-hit by Jimenez. Not that it matters as he was offside any way.
