The Met Office forecast maximum temperatures for tomorrow and Tuesday seem to be about 5 degrees lower than the BBC/Meteo ones (at least in London and Devon). I wonder if the real reason BBC dropped the Met Office was because it didn't generate enough melodrama?
Quite a discussion since I last logged on. I'm happiest around 23 degrees myself, but my point was really why can't the weather forecaster simply say for those who lack common sense "It'll be hot for a few days, don't forget to wear a hat/sun cream if you're out and stay hydrated" rather than...
I'm still struggling to understand why we need a warning for weather that thousands of people pay to go abroad to experience every year. This would just be a normal summer around the Med., wouldn't it?
