Errr, what gulf? They were pretty evenly matched. Factors outside their individual control was most often the deciding factor between them.

People are people. End of. It's not difficult to treat everyone with respect and to celebrate our differences.

    West Ham (H) 6/4: Build-Up & Match Thread

The combination of injuries to all of our forwards and the PGMOL means that yeah, it's not happening. As Nuno said though, dreaming is for free.

Oh, it's an utter classic. But then I am the right age for it to have been the first one I was properly aware of. It's definitely better than the follow-up adidas kit with the white sleeves that just made us look like Arsenal.

I can't see them keeping Perez, so it's probably Sainz v Albon for that seat. Unless of course, Max stomps off with the internal issues at Red Bull and they end up with both of them. Albon is under contract to Williams for another year, so they'd have to pay to get him.

Yeah, even the Bukta ones with the full branding are not identical to the originals - the two badges aren't at the same relative height. The Puma 1996 ones are just kinda vaguely similar to the originals. My first one was the 1979-80 shirt, like the retro one available but without the League...

So is anyone going to the Black Country Derby at Molineux tonight? As a reminder, it's free entry to STH, but you do need to book your ticket in advance. It looks like they've had to open the Stan Cullis stand as well as the Billy Wright, so it should be a good attendance at least.

    The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2023/24

All of this Southgate stuff is deeply hilarious to those of us that aren't English. In reality, the furthest any nation can "expect" to get in a tournament is the quarter-finals. Getting beyond that stage is a combination of the luck of the draw, having your players perform on the day and not...

    Chasing Europe...........

It matters from a co-efficient point of view - 2 teams in the final is better than just 1 winning it for example.

Carlos Sainz has appendicitis and will miss the rest of the Saudi GP. Oliver Bearman will make his debut for Ferrari, and will therefore trash the "Lewis Hamilton is the first British driver to race for Ferrari this century" stat. Difficult first F1 start for a teenager, and he'll have to...

It is utterly awful PR after everything, but of course we just don't know the full story at all. It could be the most victim-blaming decision in the history of F1, or there could be something else behind it. There's just not enough evidence in the public domain (yet) to tell.

Spoilt Princesses moaning about Media Coverage of Wolves

I appear to be the only person for whom The Athletic said "OK, see you then" when I cancelled!

And a Google Drive link containing alleged evidence of the Christian Horner affair has been sent to every journalist with a permanent F1 accreditation, every Team Principal, Liberty Media, senior F1 figures like Stefano Domenicali etc. from an anonymous source. That's quite something. The...

The Steve Bull itself was already built that way - behind the old Molineux Street stand. That trick only really works once in a city centre location like ours.

Wolves 1-0 Sheff Utd: Verdict Thread

It is. Now add the VAR points on from earlier in the season. Then it's all completely insane.

It was because Bradshaw had a back injury - it's why he was never the same keeper afterwards.

West Ham won the World Cup apparently. Never heard any of their fans mention it mind.

Bec Thomas saving the first two Albion penalties as well! Not at our best, 2-0 down early on, but a great fightback.

I think that's a tad unfair on Fosun - though don't get me wrong, my opinion is that they could and should be doing more. Up until a couple of years ago, the women's team still had to pay subs to play, had no facilities, had to beg for hand-me-down kits etc etc. Now they have access to all...
