1st visit to new music

Yes but its on TDK cassette :ROFLMAO: , most of the stuff i've done this century are .WAV files ???
You can resave them as mp3's easily enough.

Or upload them to SoundCloud and post the link.

Does anyone here listen to any hip-hop?

Denzel Curry's latest album dropped recently and it is quite the listen. Not on the level of something like To Pimp A Butterfly but playing with some similar sonic ideas (although you certainly get some of the Miami hip-hop quality that is Zel’s bread and butter) and Denzel usually has quality bars to go with the beats.

He's brilliant. Absolutely tore it up at Glastonbury in 2019. There have been some really good releases in the past 12 months. Mick Jenkins on constant repeat.

Jordan Rakei was absolutely phenomenal last night, even at the shithole that is the Bristol 02 Academy. Probably the tightest band I've ever seen live and his vocals are on another planet.

Anyone here recorded anything they want to share?
Three singles on Spotify from a new local band now selling out gigs in Manchester where they go to Uni. Family interest, not me playing bass again 35 years after I last realised I hadn't got any rhythm in my body.

Self written, produced etc. Young lads from Shropshire

BÖHMEN (three singles are Wildside (debut), Torrent and Tennant)

again new to me (but not new exactly), really liking Halseys latest album;

For those the like the heavier end of the musical spectrum, the Nova Twins album Puzzles is worth a spin.

Kind of punk/grime I guess
