2022 world cup

This could lead to a massive fall out between FIFA and many countries FA's, players are well within their rights to not want to play in life threatening conditions and FIFA are to blame for putting them in that situation, think all the countries which have their leagues disrupted are going to be extremely peeved with FIFA.

I think it could all end in tears and lots of egg on the faces of the FIFA hierarchy, could this latest blunder be another nail in the coffin for FIFA as we know it? Only time will tell, could we see a breakaway organisation more accomodating to those countries that are "Football" focused? As it is quite clear that FIFA want to leave a footballing legacy, i fear it will be for all the wrong reasons...

Guess which country is on " stand by" should Brazil fail to hit their FIFA deadlines ahead of the 2014 WorldCup

Going off FIFA's recent record, either Andorra or the Falkland Islands.

I know it may be difficult without half of our players who will by then, be selected for World Cup duty, but if it causes a real stink between the countries and FIFA, then bring it on.

It may be the final swansong for Blatt the Twat.

But he won't really care. After the shit storm has died away, he'll get out his stash of fat brown envelopes and fuck off somewhere to die a lonely death.

If that last bit needs editing.... feel free.

Will he really be lonely?

North Korea, and their first game will be against South Korea, or possibly Iceland, which could cause eruptions, or maybe England.

Colombia? They had to give up 1986 after all. That precedent suggests we are all off to mexico then.

Correct with one country listed.

Yes, they were being sounded out only days after losing out to Russia for the right to host the 2018 tournament. The reason England were asked was because they already had the stadium and infrastructure in place. Which begs a question.........

I would tell FIFA to get lost, if we werent good enough two weeks ago, then we arent now

Worth billions to the country, if FIFA come knockin we have to say yes. Anyway it will happen in Brazil regardless of deadlines not being met.

I really hope Brazil does go ahead, it's one of the more obvious and natural choices for the tournament. Like South Africa though there may be a perceived crime problem that could keep some visiting fans away.

To be honest I don't think the FA should pay any attention to FIFA. If Brazil starts to go badly wrong and that little fat Swiss pervert gets panicky, he may live to regret trying to piss on our bonfire. Revenge served icy-cold as only the Brits know how. :icon_wink:

The very fact that enquiries have been made show that there is a doubt over whether Brazil will hold the tournament.

Hmmm... so you like Blatter the Twatter too do you...?

Brazil has a proven track record of building projects being miles behind schedule and then somehow being ready in time. I can't see the tournament not going ahead, especially as they have already gutted the maracana.
