Over the past year or so myself and my partner have been busy creating a new quiz/trivia game. We have created and designed every aspect of the game ourselves, and are now in a position to start publicising and advertising the game ready for release. The game, called Strong Point, is currently with manufacturers and it we anticipate that it will be available from late October or early November.

Please feel free to check out our website here:
www.strongpointgame.co.uk

If you like the look of the game there is a link on the website where you can request notification of the confirmed release date.

We have created our website ourselves from a base knowledge of absolute zero on website creation, but hopefully it runs smoothly and serves its purpose well. Our Facebook page will also be going public as of today so if you wish to follow and share it that would be very kind, just search for Strong Point Games.

This is brand new to both of us, so please be gentle!

Welcome to the enlightening, satisfying, infuriating, and sometimes depressing world of software development!

Not software, its an actual physical game, a card based trivia game.

Well, you did say you built the website yourselves. ;)

Still cool nonetheless! Some very similar design problems to tackle. Congrats on making it to production!

All I'm getting is a 'This site can't be reached' message ??

Working for me, fwiw.

Apologies, really not sure why the link to the website isn't working? It's not the website, so something to do with the link itself? If possible try just typing the Web address into your browser to see if that works? It won't show in a Google search yet as we have literally only just launched.

The Facebook page should be followable now.

Doesn’t sound like a cyber attack. More a DNS fuck up of epic proportions. Should be back now apparently.

I just find it amusing, like I dunno, Anne Widdecombe musing on sexuality or something :D

It isn't back though, it's still all fucked.

Now this DNS issue. Is it like when someone accidentally did a reply to all and effectively fucked the entire NHS email system?

Interestingly my first PA did the same in 1998 and utterly fucked the WH Smith email servers. Most amusing.
