Looks a bit brown to me now

I'd call it 'weird dirt' and now I'm on my laptop I'd say there's far too much of it to boot.

Not really a fan of the badges behind the textboxes either, just looks a bit clashy.

It looks a lot more brown on mobile than on PC. The colour is actually lifted from a Wolves image as well, I can play around with that.

The badges on PC run down the side of the page if you’re at 1920x1080 and actually look pretty good (I think anyway) but again they’re easily removed if they offend too many people.

Yeah the colour isn't as bad on laptop as it was on my phone to be fair, wasn't sure if that was a trick of the eyes with more of it on show though.

I like the idea of something in the background to break it up a bit but on both laptop and phone it's clashed with the textboxes for me so you just see little strips between individual comments or a stray bit sticking out the side.

Kind of reminds me of one bit of software we occasionally have to use at work, piece of piss to transfer across the content from what we usually use but then attempting to format it into anything presentable is a nightmare of trial and error. It's got a really obtuse interface with oddly named and categorised options, couple that with none of us it using it very frequently and it's a right ordeal to figure out the right things to change to get the desired effect.

I'm still having some trouble with Chrome cookies, not sure if anybody is? If not, no bother, it seems to run fine on Safari.

No need for thanks mate, I enjoy doing it. As long as everybody else (well, the majority, I know it’s impossible to please everyone) likes it then I’m happy. So colours and layout etc are OK yeah?

Now now, that’s as much a part of our history as Darren Ferguson and Steve Corica (should have just said Johnny), embrace it.

I think I have a workaround for the badges showing up in snippets on mobile as well. It’s everything on the left side it’s picking up so I’ll just move everything over to the right when I get chance. Still get them on desktop and won’t see them on mobile. Bear with me and I’ll get it done.

I’ll lighten the background colour just a smidge as well.

That said, the orange etc is about as subtle as a punch in the face. Any news on a second option for those of us accessing the forum at work? The blue/white one on the old interface was perfect tbf.

Yes, cleared my history and cache, Logged in not using a saved password and hey presto it works

Ah I shall give that a try then - thanks Cyber! I do keep my password saved so perhaps that is the problem. I've set Chrome to wipe cookies every time I shut down.

• Secondary content areas given colour to allow users and quotes to stand out more
• Badges moved to right hand side to remove partial images from mobile site
• Muted text colour changed to black from light grey (to make thread starter, date, Share links etc to stand out)

They don't show on my normal laptop screen, but show up if I switch over to my monitor.
