Ticket Details have been released.

I see the Albion v Blues games has now been moved to the Friday night to avoid fun and games.

£14 to travel to Villa. £7 return on the train..

Villa with their alleged brilliant start to the season are one point above us.

Bit of a worry if Neves is missing, mind. I'd like to go 3-5-2 if he's available and play Raul/Hwang as a proper pair.

2020/21: L 0-1 (H), D 0-0 (A)
2019/20: W 2-1 (H), W 1-0 (A), L 1-2 (A, LC)
2017/18: W 2-0 (H), L 1-4 (A)
2016/17: W 1-0 (H), D 1-1 (A)
2011/12: L 2-3 (H), D 0-0 (A)
2010/11: L 1-2 (H), W 1-0 (A)
2009/10: D 1-1 (H), D 2-2 (A)
2003/4: L 0-4 (H), L 2-3 (A)
1995/6: L 0-1 (A, LC)

Have I missed summat, what's the doubt over Neves?

Didn't even get on the bench for Portugal against Qatar on Friday. We'll see if he features at all vs Luxembourg tomorrow.

Do the senior players who are not on International duty train away as normal , or do they take a break ?

They'll still come in but there's only so much they can do, there's hardly anyone there.

I think the non-injured first teamers here this week are Sa, Ruddy, Kilman, Ait-Nouri, Marçal, Podence and Adama.

Wouldn't you think that it's a great opportunity to work on a specific area of weakness - like Adama's finishing as one example .

Difficult to replicate a match situation. They can all finish in training

Don’t need to replicate a match, just a part of it.

It’s a function part of training which would work on specific timing (for Adama this could focus on decision making for example)

Probably enough players for a phase part of training where match scenarios could be replicated (again decision making but also timing of runs) but not enough players for a small sided game (which is what most videos show in nearly every social media post).

Raul started on the bench tonight in El Salvador. He came on in the second half and scored a penalty in the 90th minute. He didn't have too much to do, so as long as the private jet arrangement has a bed, he should be fit and ready for Villa on Saturday.

I note Mexico are playing 3 more qualifiers between Jan 27 and Feb 2. Are we going to lose him then? Isn’t there something about clubs not being obliged to release players outside of FIFA windows?

Not sure, he'd only miss an FA Cup game though, assuming we get through

Argentina and Brazil are playing at 1.30 on Friday morning UK time - surely rules out Martinez and Luiz for them?

.......... ........................Sa
Semedo......Kilman...Coady....Saiss......RAN
.................Neves................Moutinho
.......Hwang.........Raul.............Traore.

Don't mind if Boly comes in or if Donk replaces one of the CMs, also fine if it's Podence instead of Traore.
Feels like we have options atm

Martinez and Luiz will be in the Villa squad which is somewhat surprising as they must still be in the air.
