Beer

No, definitely wasn't a mild. I'll have to try it when I'm next in the Western.

If its on! The best place to try a Bathams is in a Bathams pub. There's a definite difference IMHO. This is a pint of Bathams - with steak pie, chips and mushy peas - in the Bull and Bladder. All that cost £5.05. I love that pub.

I did the Wychwood brewery tour yesterday, very interesting and plenty of samples.

That wasn't what I tried.

I like a good pint of Banks' Bitter too.

Railway Tavern, Aby. Great array of beers. Steve(Croxden Abbey) and myself have sampled some of their fine ales. Lancaster Red was interesting!!

This was how my Gornal-Sedgley pub crawl started last week (cheers to Langdale for the suggested establisments)

and this is how it ended - smiles, laughs with mates with a Sedgely Surprise in one hand, and a Ruby Red in the other

You've got to love ale nights!

That was my other half's lemonade. She's preggers!

1st picture - who the fuck was on the lager???!

She did try half a Guinness and black, but didn't like it. Can't blame her really!

Hoegaarden and Leffe are the way to go for me. I do enjoy a pint of Fireside in the Vine, gorgeous pint of bitter, and I've not tried Bathams yet.

I hate beer but I am getting more a taste for Stella Cidre. Its up to 10 bottles a week now.... :/

I smell like a farmyard after a few pints of Hoegaarden, but I do like it. I like all the Weissbiers really, but the hangover is something awful!!!! Was in a bad way after last Oktoberfest in Dublin.

Langdale, nice work on the Innis and Gunn! Its lovely stuff! So many unique flavours! Did you mention you bought it in a bar? You can only get it in shops here

I really need to try some trappist beers.

Sacrilege. The only thing that should be added to Guinness is more Guinness!!

She has a sweet tooth though, so I thought it might help. We're trying to find Makesons on tap somewhere.

It was in All Bar One - a bog standard tossy bar in Brindley Place. Very surprised to see it but it was a welcome surprise!
