Bellend commentators

Darke excelling himself.

"They often call this the Westfalenstadion but for UEFA purposes it's Dortmund Stadium, they don't like sponsor's names being used".

Er Ian, 'Westfalen' is not a sponsor you fucking dolt.
I had it on while the Mrs was mucking about on her phone not paying attention the incredulous/contemptuous look after he said it is worth the subscription alone :ROFLMAO:

Not entirely sure what Carlton Cole thinks ‘raincheck’ means, but wherever it is he’s not right.

Souness has really found his niche now, excellent pundit.

Can someone ask Hinchcliffe who Diogo Shota is? I'm used to people getting the first part wrong but the second is a new one.

I wasn't on the forum last night but Darke said the following during the Leicester vs Southampton match... "There's a break in play and the players will take the chance to get some dehydration treatment"

You mean they'll have a drink then, you knob?

Who’s the bloke who presents Talksport 1 between 5-6 in the morning? Turned on to listen to some updates on my way to work and it was like listening to Tottenham FM.

Its normally Paul Coyte at that time

Wake up to money with a genuine football fan is on that time of the day.

Chris Coleman - "One-Nil is never enough, never enough. Unless it's the last few minutes and you can hold on then it can be. But it's never enough"

Darren Bent. "That's an unbelievable header from Danny Ings, but I expect nothing less from him"

You know there are other radio stations, yeah?
I’m in the car for six minutes. Can’t be arsed to change and playing something like Deicide at 5.25 on the CD player seems a little disrespectful to the neighbours.

Fair play, six minutes isn't really made for a playlist.

You could listen to Shake It Off by Taylor Swift, almost twice.

You could listen to Ooh Crikey 36 times easily.

True. However the Mowdeer demo was a bit longer. Been with the band that long and I still have the original tape somewhere in the attic (I hope)

Is it in the commentators rule book to skirt round a kick/ball to the bollocks? I’ve never heard anyone tell it how it is, rather than a “that’ll hurt” with a schoolboy snigger.

Its not about me says Clive, but if the article has it right, it makes it seem that it was. Doesn't like people putting the boot into Cloughie but does it himself anyway. I think someone else on here stated that he was always looking for his Wolstenholme moment and he's trying to convince himself that he has one by some reference to United's name being on the trophy after they equalised in the 99 Champions League final.
I wasn't keen on him as a commentator, he made himself look a cock with his rant last year and this makes him look worse.

He's an absolute wrister. However ITV have managed to replace him with worse, I cannot stand Matterface. The fucking dork.

He’s unequivocally bias when working on Liverpool games to a point it’s very belittling of the other side.
With his England commentary at major Tournaments could seem patronising to us seasoned fans but I think there’s an element of talking to a wider audience who don’t watch as much of the game.
Did seem a case last year of “don’t you know who I am?” Attitude when he was not made lead commentator for ITV.
