Commentators trying to be funny when they’re not is a big annoyance Guy Mowbray tries it on BBC and it just sounds stupid. Tyldsley tonight I counted 3 occasions he did impressions, stupid metaphors and annoying comparisons.
Agree with most Tyldsley wants his Augero, Hurst moment to go down in history.

Also Clive Tyldsley can be added the list with Robbie Savage as being totally woeful & crap during the knock out stages

Have really enjoyed Ian Darke and Stuart Robson on ESPN, but for Sweden v Ukraine the network have chosen Steve Cangialosi, who is a) a multi-sport announcer rather than a football specialist, and b) American.

He has a really grating voice and says stupid things like describing a corner being taken from "the near flag".
 
Back to Sam fucking Matterface again.

He was awful last night - my biggest gripe is with is obsession of trying to build tension with his facts and comments. IT'S A FUCKING SEMI FINAL LET THE OCCASSION SPEAK FOR ITSELF.

Everyone at home is already shitting themselves with nerves without that cunt trying to ramp it up every 2 fucking seconds.

Rant over, I feel better now.
