Bellend commentators

He'd like us to believe that in the early 2010s, a women's team actually wanted to run around in shirts that said "Richard Keys" on the front, and he had to ask them not to.

He's been going doolally for years.

I'd quite like to know exactly how "carefully edited" all that leaked footage is. You know, the footage of Richard Keys saying sexist and racist things, repeatedly, over the course of years.

I'm sure all that other stuff about who he was dipping into while his wife was ill was just "willful misrepresentation" too.

Yeah but if it hadn't been for that 'infamous night in Wolverhampton' then the Lionesses wouldn't have won. Or something.

Richard Keys having a totally normal one:

Where do you even start.

I mean obviously, with Martin Tyler having someone else's incorrectly spelled name on his own gravestone, but it just keeps going.
It's wonderful in every respect. If Chris Morris or Ianucci had written this it would have won awards.

Martin Tyler is the subject of today's social media pile on for implying Hillsborough was a hooligan event. Although if you listen to the clip it's clear what he's trying to say, just said it clumsily

Excellent start by Crooks to his team of the week with Sanchez in goal despite the fact that the United goal was 100% his fault.

He is SUCH a prick.

Souness says its "A mans game again" with Karen Carney sitting next to him 🤦‍♀️

Follows it up 5 minutes later with "we've got our football back. Men at it"...

Talkshite have recruited him for Mondays I think to, he probably means you need to have thick skin to play at the top level but the way you use language is so important in todays society.

Having heard the comments in context, it had nothing to do with the men's game vs the women's. Souness was talking about the fact that refs have been instructed to let more go this season and allow more physicality, Souness was saying its a man's game again rather than the prancing Prima Donnas who go down with a gust of wind

Even so it’s a poor use of language still has the emphasis of only toughness being associated with being male. Could have easily used a phrase like “players need to be stronger” etc
