Best Films Ever

Agreed along with Flight of the Navigator & Batteries not included !!
Pre cgi genius! May as well add the last star fighter and galaxy quest
If we are going back to childhoods then bed knobs and broomsticks

Picnic at Hanging Rock has just popped into my head. Bloody good cult Aussie movie.
The Aussies were definitely producing some great films in the 70s

Walkabout
The Odd Angry Shot
The Plumber
Tim
The Club
Mad Max
Razorback
Stone
The Man from Hong Kong

to name a few.

I'd have to put the LOTR trilogy in here somewhere.
The first one (Fellowship) is the best.

Kill Bill Part 2
Godfather Part 2
Toy Story 1
Back To The Future 2
Terminator 1
Spiderman 2
Matrix 1

Watched Star Wars for the first time in years tonight, still a classic. Wish Disney+ had put the untampered versions on though, the CGI stuff kills it. Totally unnecessary and adds nothing.

The firm (Gary Oldman as a football hooligan, loads of people in it that went on to be famous)
Fantabulosa ( made for bbc4 Michael Sheen playing Kenneth williams)
Eric and Ernie ( another made for BBC charts morecambe and Wise from the start to being to stars, Victoria wood and vic reeves were brilliant in it)
Surprised downfall hasn't had a mention as well, you've seen the parodies go watch the original.

Naked
Love Actually
Muriel’s Wedding
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

I'm not really one for films, I'd struggle to do a top 10 list let alone a top 40. Now if somebody did a similar thread on books that would be different...
