Anybody know of any easy ways or calculators out there to work this sort of stuff out? I had a quick look online but couldn't quite find one that did what I want.

Basically I had a £10 double on Real/Monaco at odds of 5.18 (£51.82 return).

I want to back the draw and Juve win in case Monaco don't win. I know I could simply lay Monaco on Betfair but I'm not on there at the minute. All my money is in my Stan James account so need to be able to split the lay into two parts.

Win double - £10 @ 5.18
Draw - £? @ 3.13
Juve - £? @ 2.13

What stakes do I need to have a) Equal profits for all three results, b) £0 loss on both Draw/Juve (i.e Free-rolling for the double to come in)?

Didn't read the stake correctly.

Back to the drawing board.

Can I suggest looking at tennis rather than football. Makes things a lot similar as there is only two possible outcomes.

Don't think you're going to be able to work it into matching your £51 profit on Real/Monaco without just laying off Monaco (and I haven't looked at the odds for that on Betfair, still might not be possible).

Sticking £3.20 on the draw and £4.70 on Juve means you don't end up down whatever happens. But it will just be a more or less neutral outcome unless Monaco win.

Yeah that's what I wanted really, just a freeroll on Monaco, covering any losses.

I ended up with £4.35 on the draw and £7.69 on Juve, as each of those makes £10 profit back, covering the loss on the double each time. Still works out a few quid up/down altogether if one of them wins instead though.

3.25 to lay on Betfair. Do StanJames offer cash out as I'd say that would be the best route to guaranteeing a profit if you don't want to go down the route of putting funds into your Betfair account.

Sorry Bear I get what you're on about now.

So can't you just lay Monaco, £16 @ 3.20 = £51.20

Monaco win = 51.82 = £25.82 profit
Juve/Draw = 51.20 = £25.20 profit

No I can't lay as Stan James doesn't offer that. Or cash out annoyingly.

After this I'm just gonna withdraw from there and stick it in my Betfair account! Stan James are crap.

Cheers for the help.

Don't they offer a double chance market? That's effectively the same as laying against a team.

Possibly. Never thought of that. Too late now anyway. I ended up just over £3 up with the Juve win.

Similar sitch...£5 seven fold to win £240. Five are in, arsenal and Fulham to come. What's the bet I need to make on those two games to come up with a fifty quid profit should one or both fail to win? Can I do it? Or do I just grow some balls?

Not sure it can be done as both Double Chance for those two are both around evens. So if only one of them won you'd lose the same amount on the other one.

Just let it roll.

Interesting 45 minutes for you Delbert. What's the latest time you can cash out?

I don't know tbh. It's a skybet account. Cash out only £85 still. Fulham look the better side from what I've seen, so I gonna stick!

Unless it's a life changing amount or you could really do with the money then you should never cash out. With how the bookies price up things then the cash out is never what it should be and you aren't getting value for the bet.
