bigger? in texas

lincoln didn't come out in support of black equality when elected, but he never owned and was always against slavery as a system. this is a common right wing lie that gets thrown around as whataboutism bullshit-- "well I guess we have to cancel lincoln too durr hurr".

which is ridiculous because it's not like there is a shortage of slave owners in our founding. there is ample ammunition for your dumbass talking point.

that said he wasn't an abolitionist, that all came later, so it's not like he got elected on a pro-black platform or anything similar.

Wasn't there a gop politician from Missouri about a week ago who said that if we are taking down statues of Lee then we should also remove statues of all the other bad guys - starting with Lincoln?

I have 20 acres of land in Texas. 10 in Culberson County and 10 in Hudspeth county with permission for a well and a ranch! Never been!
Two cousins in Florida, Orlando, sister is in California as a dr auntie in Santa Rosa Florida and I have never been there either.

Brings up google maps

yeah I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to visit that land. 😅 The whole western part of texas is generally nothing but dirt.

Yep. But if they ever strike oil on my land ………….

Becoming an oil baron is dangerous. Never work late in the office where it is too dark to see the shooter.

I believe it was Socrates who said, "mo money, mo problems".

Yesterday temp: 25C
Today: 1C with wind chill to feel like -4C
San Antonians do not like cold weather, and remember last winter, so even though it is bone dry and not freezing, all the schools are closed today and people spent yesterday panic buying in the supermarkets.

Ted Cruz ready to throw another family member under a bus as he departs for Cancun?

Jesus, Denny, even Florida and NC aren't that bad!

I did have classes cancelled for sheer cold once, but that was a wild cold snap. The high that day was -27C before wind chill. Only time I've seen anything like it.

Walked outside, blinked, and my left eye froze shut. Nature's scary.

Apparently serious question from a customer:
"Is it true that the queen is a reptile?"
Yep, the Texas education system really is that bad.

First week of April, severe drought, 35C today.
