Birmingham City (A) build up 31/10

Frank I love your optimism and hope that we win but all the bookies are against us and so is the form guide. Additionally Brum are playing well as a unit. We arent even playing well as individuals. It would be a shock to win this one

And those Ladbrokes boys know what they're on about! 😂😂

Deano? Is that you?

We are playing Birmingham City, not Barcelona. Can some-one please give me one good reason why Wolves cannot win at St Andrews.

Any number of reasons really, take your pick from a porous and depleted defence, an increasingly uncreative and toothless attack and a team that is nowhere near the sum of its parts at present, which all suggest we may not win. To turn this around - what reason/s do you have for thinking Wolves definitely will take all 3 points, other than blind hope (which let's face it most of still possess to a greater or lesser degree).

Our games v blues in recent times have been fairly turgid affairs.
Living in brum I'm not looking forward to this too much.

Watch us do a typical turn them over smash and grab given we're all almost convinced we don't stand a chance!

First goal is crucial especially for Wolves to raise the confidence and get the fans upbeat. It must be the first time for ages that Wolves enter the game as underdogs.

I think we've already done so several times this season tbh...

Just my usual optimism. Plus I think we are a better team than we have shown this season. The loss of Dicko has proved very costly, and is one of the reasons we are not doing as well as I thought we would.

It's been proved both this season and last that although one man doesn't make a team, the loss of Dicko is far greater than any other at the club, including Afobe.

The form book, the bookies and sensible logic all points towards a Birmingham win, but I'm with Frank and think that we'll come away with all three points.

I think this is underestimated. I know he wasn't playing very before his injury, but he's been so important to our style in the past two years and when he has been out injured or even dropped it has shown.

Let's just not turn up, and say we were confused by the clocks going back.

I'd rather lose to the Albion than this bunch of shitkickers.

I'm with you on the last part losing to Birmingham is always a bitter to pill to swallow. They have to be the most unlikable and bitter fans I have ever encountered

Frank, if you blindly predict that we'll win every game in a season (which you do) - then there is no denying that you'll occasionally be right. A broken clock is also right twice a day. Optimism is one thing, but ignoring all of the facts, form and stats and just blindly going "I'll think we'll win" is annoying and tiresome.

For the record, I'm edging towards a draw this weekend - which doesn't really help us.

Anyone know how many we've sold for this?

I can't imagine that it'll be many, not with our current form, it being on Sky and the trouble there last year.

its Halloween I hope its the only horror show this weekend

Looking like Mike Williamson from NUFC will be here on loan. Can't say I'm wildly excited at signing defenders Newcastle don't want, but at least it'll be a square peg in a square hole. Unless Kenny plays him on the left wing...
